This is a tremendous post-election holiday season. People are happy, laughing, and looking forward to a fantastic, prosperous future. The Democrats, specifically the radical Left, looked forward to Donald Trump in prison orange within a frame of bars. Instead, they cower as they watch Donald Trump sound the bell to open the trading day with a picture of Time’s Person of the Year behind him.
Surrounded by his family, staff, and Vice President-Elect Vance, Donald Trump was in New York to celebrate being named to grace that Time Magazine cover. Instead of doing time, he is on the cover of Time! Trump is now the first President to be called the Person of the Year twice, and it looks like that is but one of a series of firsts. Trump is making America a country of winners and firsts. It is the dawning of a period of greatness for America that even Democrats will enjoy.
Not long ago, Trump was a pariah to the elite. He was an evil, Hitler-like Fascist who nobody wanted to associate with. That was until 74 million Americans picked him to lead us out of the Biden/Harris malaise. Much like the country looked to Reagan to fix the Jimmy Carter mess, America is bringing back Donald J. Trump to finish the job he started eight years ago, and they have given him a mandate to use whatever it takes to make America safe and prosperous again. And he is adding some incredible tools to his arsenal.
The Trump Train really gained momentum when Elon Musk hopped on board. Musk got people to look at Trump in a new light. If Trump could attract the attention and help of the wealthiest and most innovative man on earth, there may be more to the story. Then came the most remarkable comeback in political history, followed by the assembly of what may be the most incredible collection of talent and drive in Washington history.
The media wants us to believe there is tremendous resistance to this team on Capital Hill, but insiders say that Trump will get his entire wish list of talent. He may even get support from some Democrats, like John Fetterman of Pennsylvania. Fetterman recognizes that his constituents wanted Trump, and if he is to represent them, he must work with Trump. Fetterman is proving many of us wrong, who thought he was out of his league in the Senate.
An unusual line-up of people is traveling to Mar-A-Lago for an audience with the President-Elect, led by the unlikely duo of Joe and Mika. Folks like Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos are swallowing their pride and realizing they either need to get on the train or be run over by it. Zuckerberg and Bezos even gave $1 million each to Trump’s inauguration fund. During yesterday’s event on Wall Street, CEOs on the trading floor wanted to witness Trump’s history or be associated with it.
The excitement is palpable in the business and political worlds, but most of all with the people. Consumer confidence is up, and people are starting to spend money again. They recognize Trump will get this stubborn inflation under control, bring down prices by unleashing our energy reserves, and get us out of these senseless, never-ending battles around the globe. Trump deserves that cover shot, and if he comes out of the gate on January 20 the way people expect, he may be back there again in 2025. Don’t ever count Donald Trump down or out.
