Joe Biden is the President of the United States and is charged with being the Commander in Chief. As such, Biden’s number one priority and responsibility is the safety of America’s citizens and the protection of America’s sovereignty. A year ago, Joe Biden failed us as a Chinese spy balloon traversed our country as if it was on a cross-country RV trip. It entered our air space in Alaska, crossed over Canada, and then flew unencumbered across America until it was finally destroyed off the coast of South Carolina. The military or government did not alert us to the intruder. Ranchers in Montana sounded the alarm when they saw it with the naked eye over their land. Even after disclosure, Biden and his administration downplayed the event as simply harmless weather balloons that had drifted off course and accidentally entered our air space. The government finally conceded that the balloons were owned and operated by the Chinese government. Still, we were assured that there was no communication between the balloon and its control spot in China.
Mysteriously, for balloons supposedly adrift, it was navigated over every one of our military bases on its west-to-east path. When the downed balloon was recovered, it was found to contain sophisticated imaging and communication equipment. The entire journey was recorded like a YouTube vacation journal, and China had the original. In the end, China condemned our action of shooting down the balloon, but I do not remember any condemnation of China by our president or our Commander in Chief. Biden failed to protect us from a simple balloon. We should have allowed the Montana ranchers to shoot it down as a protective act. They would have completed the mission that Joe Biden could not.
Now, for the past month, we have been watching a nightly air show over New Jersey. There have been hundreds of sightings of drones flying freely over U.S. land. These are not amateur or experimental aircraft but self-propelled the size of a school bus. Our Pentagon is taking no part in identifying the origin or operators of these drones. Sabrina Singh, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary reported yesterday that these are not military aircraft and the Pentagon is leaving it up to local law enforcement to deal with the issue. She was quick to say they were not an action by a foreign country or group, but had no basis for that statement as they do not know who is flying these crafts.
NJ Congressman Jeff Van Drew went on the record saying he had proof these were Iranian-operated and launched from an Iranian “Mother-Ship” parked in the Atlantic. The Pentagon quickly denied his claims, but again had no alternative answer. Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey called for a meeting of New Jersey law enforcement agencies, but he could not find time in his schedule to attend, even though he said it was his highest priority.
We have no idea what the purpose of these drones is, but they are large enough to carry weaponry or chemical loads. This government is treating us like ignorant, clueless children and a dangerous laissez-fair attitude. When we cannot recognize a possible invasion of our airspace in any form, we need action, not rhetoric and platitudes.
