Woman Arrested for Defying COVID Lockdowns Wins House Seat

Have you ever heard of Shelley Luther? She just won a seat in the Texas House after receiving 78% of the vote. Shelley is also a small business owner who defied COVID lockdown orders and operated her salon in defiance of the regime mandates.

Shelley Luther, the former North Texas salon owner who made national headlines after she reopened her salon in defiance of COVID-19 shutdown orders during the pandemic, was elected to the state house.

Luther defeated Democrat Tiffany Drake Tuesday with nearly 78% of the vote (66,959 votes) in District 62 representing Fannin, Grayson, Franklin and Delta counties.

Arrested and jailed!

Shelley then got political, primaried, and unseated an incumbent Republican, and went on to a sweeping win in the general and now represents Texans in their State House.

How many more of these stories are out there? I bet there are more than a few.

Send them to us! Let’s celebrate this.
