We Just Saved America – Now We Have To Keep Saving it

On Tuesday, Americans saved America in no uncertain terms. And it was one of the biggest political tents in election history. Donald Trump’s campaign brought together people of every race, religion, lack of religion, sex, age, you name the demographic, to fend off impending and certain doom.

That’s yuge.

No matter what happens in the next few years, we will not get buried under the unstoppable progressive freight train. Criminal aliens will have to hide in Democrat sanctuaries (Massachusetts and California volunteered – NYC is siding with Trump) or get deported outside a border that will be more secure. Taxes will get cut. Spending on forever wars will stop, and the wars themselves will likely end. Energy will become an American export again while prices drop for fuel and heating.

All those offshore wind farm dollars will disappear, so the whales have to be happy, and a few environmentalists on top of that.

Whether you love them or not, tariffs will be imposed not to make foreign goods cost more (which they will) but so that things will be made here instead. Jobs will be created, supply lines will be re-secured, and sole-source foreign dependency will be decreased.

Trump will also use them as foreign policy leverage because the world that hates us needs us as consumers. More than they realize, especially if the gratuitous foreign aid dries up.

Farmers will have friends in DC. Will we get the USDA and FDA all cleaned up? Maybe not right away or in the way we hoped, but farmers, especially cattle farmers, will get the boot taken off their necks.

We have a chance to demilitarize federal agencies with no domestic policing purpose. There is a very real focus on depoliticizing these agencies and firing the ring leaders, removing their herds, and elevating others to replace them. The dung pile is huge, and it has many defenders, but there are no easy victories and the long game matters.

There will be fewer IRS agents and fewer taxes to collect.

Your government will not be at war with your speech and dozens of other simple, fundamental changes that will increase individual rights and liberty, free states and people, and pull us back from the precipice.

#Woke Generals in the US Military will trade access to power for sweet gigs on dying cable news. We won’t miss them, nor will our soldiers.

It will be as perfect as we are—which is to say imperfect—but it will be better and a foundation for real change. The blob will fight it, and the Democrats will sabotage it, so be careful not to help them; they will seed the information universe with trojan horses and try to poison every watering hole, sometimes disguised as one of us.

So, there’s nothing new. It’s the same old game. And we must remain vigilant for ourselves, our states, and even our next President, the next president after that, and every election in between.

Tyranny never rests, so neither shall we.
