I was reading a Tom Woods email update, in which he reminded us how much money the Harris campaign spent.
Despite raising a billion dollars, the Harris campaign somehow ends $20 million in debt.
That’s especially sad when we consider: the campaign actually had far more than a billion dollars.
It had nonstop cheerleading from the media (including sympathetic edits of interviews), from airhead celebrities, from corrupt academia, and so on down the list of predictable culprits.
Its opponent was tied up in frivolous and idiotic lawsuits obviously intended to target him because of who he was rather than for anything he had done.
It had the benefit of prominent voices risibly warning, nonstop, of the return of Hitler.
And it still wound up $20 million in debt.
In their defense, who wouldn’t go into debt to stop Hitler? Heck, the US government is in debt to teach LGBTQ+ tolerance in Pakistan. I know, and you know, those sorts of line items are laundered CIA black bag money, but we were called names for pointing that out even though openly funding a cultural choice that would get you killed in that Muslim country seemed like a bad deal for gay people and taxpayers.
And $20 million in debt sounds like a lot (how much are eggs, now), but this is Maxime Boutillier Zephyr Sofa cushion money for people like George Soros, who spent quite a bit through NGOs to manipulate the election – and he wasn’t alone. Lots of Crazy Rich Bastards lined up to support Harris. The media, probably outspent everyone a few times over to protect the Biden-Harris legacy, and then there are the celebrities. We can’t leave them out.
They spent more than money. They showed up at Harris events no one would have otherwise attended (if Beyonce had performed, might Kamala have won?). They openly endorsed Kamala’s candidacy. They threw their (alleged) clout or weight, or whatever it is they have out into the political ether under the impression it could move voters to vote…for Kamala.
It didn’t. None of it.
Harris underperformed Biden in every county in America, even in places where Democrats still won. That’s curious, telling, damning, and the end of Kamala’s political career (we hope). It might also end her public persona – no network will hire her to chat up the punditry, trust me. They can’t stand the sound of her voice either. And the problem is sexist Democrats.
Johnny Bananas (Fake News Reporter) reminds us that over 81 million voted for Biden-Harris, but only 67 million chose Harris. Between 2020 and 2024, the difference in total voters is suspiciously significant.
In man-splaining terms, that means Democrats produced nearly 15 million more votes for the old white male instead of the colored lady. Weird.
The math suggests that money doesn’t elect candidates (right, Jeb?). That celebrities don’t elect democrat presidents. That the Obamas don’t either – cheating does that, or, despite record turnout in 2024, cheating by mail.
