A leftist friend wrote a note urging 34 friends to vote for Kamala. Below is my response to all of them, followed by her original note. No one responded to me with alternate information.

Thank you for your opinion. Based on evidence, I reached a different conclusion and will explain. Since I believe in more exchanges of information, I welcome other evidence and opinions, especially those based on evidence.
Kamala Harris claimed to be involved in key decisions and was the last person in the room when Biden made his decisions over the last disastrous (if you’re poorer than IBM retirees) almost 4 years. Kamala Harris says she cannot think of a thing that she would do different from the Biden administration.
Not the Afghanistan debacle. Not the invitation to Putin to invade the Ukraine, essentially saying “no consequences for a small incursion”. Not the millions of people whose lives have been destroyed by their failed foreign policy or the hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars that could be better spent rather than funding wars. Not even this administration’s action to stop the negotiated peace deal in April/May after Russia’s invasion that could have saved hundreds of thousands of lives.
Not the enrichment of Iran, the world’s greatest sponsor of terrorism, that enabled the attacks on Israel. Not taking the Houthis off the list of terrorist organizations; the Houthis that are shooting rockets into Israel, and sinking commercial ships and killing crew members.
Not the mismanagement of our foreign policy has aligned all our enemies against us, something that previous administrations have worked to prevent for 60 years. Now the wars that Biden enabled are getting out of control and have lit the fuses that could lead to WW3.
(In the last review of our military that I saw, only the Marines, a small force, are minimally prepared for war, the rest are not. In any major conflict many thousands will be killed…as well as ourselves.)
Not the censorship of information that the administration didn’t want getting out that in the case of Covid could have saved thousands of lives. Not the mandate that our military must get the Covid shots that they didn’t need or be fired that resulted in the loss of thousands of highly trained specialists.
Not the fact that the border that they opened has resulted in about 500,000 American deaths many of which could have been prevented if this administration hadn’t reversed Trump’s policies.
Not that they have lost 320,000 unaccompanied illegal alien minors many of whom are likely trapped as sex or labor slaves.
Not the $150,000,000,000 plus annual cost of caring for illegal aliens, including murderers, rapists, drug dealers, and other criminals who harm Americans; money that could be used to help Americans or reduce our deficit spending.
Not the inflation that has inflicted great harm on non-rich Americans who have lost buying power.
Not the fact that this administration is destroying women’s sports, and allowing men to invade women’s private spaces where many are frightened, intimidated, and sometimes raped. So far, approximately 900 medals in women’s sports have been won by biological men who will also edge out real women for scholarships, endorsements, and adversely impact their future careers. Why? So women can get abortions of healthy babies as they are being delivered, and so that babies can be abandoned to die without any help if they happen to survive an abortion attempt as is the law that Governor Walz signed.
Nope, Harris wouldn’t change a thing.
Democrats keep saying they are for “democracy” yet they are unwilling to abide by the democratically decided abortion laws. The people of Minnesota apparently support Walz’s law allowing full term healthy babies to be aborted as they are being born and babies to be abandoned to die if they survive a botched abortion. I think this is barbaric but I’m willing to go along with their democratically decision, so why aren’t Democrats willing to go along with the democratically established laws in other states? NH’s abortion law is similar to Connecticut’s, RI’s, Mass’s, and New York’s, yet Democrats here keep lying about the law, why can’t they just tell the truth?
(Trump has made his position clear, abortion is a State issue. Trump will not sign an abortion ban if one gets to him, but there will never be enough votes in Congress to pass such a law. Trump Is for IVF, democrats blocked a GOP bill trying to ensure that nationwide. Yet, the Democrats and media repeatedly lie about Trump’s position.)
Democrats keep saying they are for “democracy”. But apparently they are just not for our “democracy” since they want to pack the Supreme Court, eliminate the Senate filibuster, eliminate the electoral college, eliminate the checks and balances intended to prevent one branch from exercising more power than granted by the Constitution, refuse to fulfill their oaths of office to enforce our nation’s laws created to protect the American people, they fight against every effort to ensure the integrity of our elections so every legitimate voter has a vote that actually counts, they refuse to abide by Supreme Court decisions (e.g., eliminating college loan debt illegally), and abusing government powers to attack political opponents and help political friends, etc.
Did you listen the the Madison Square Garden event? I didn’t hear the supposed comedian, a clip showed he was boo’d when he made his distasteful “joke” about Puerto Rico, but I heard a lot of the rest. There was nothing anti-woman, anti-black, anti-Jew, anti-gay, or anti-any group except the media which has lied about Trump since he came down the elevator, e.g.: Russia collusion, taxes, “good people”, etc., etc., ad nauseam. Unlike Democrats who attack and slander republicans in general, Trump doesn’t attack democrats in general, he typically criticizes individuals.
People apparently know little about Trump other than the lies told by the media. He put a woman in charge of his major building project and had women in key positions in his business decades ago. He’s the first Presidential candidate to have a female campaign manager, now for the second time. He had women and gays in his administration in prominent positions. Trump has been long time friends with people of every minority group. Trump twice received a humanitarian award from Jessie Jackson’s group. Trump’s policies haven’t changed since Oprah encouraged him to run for President, back when Democrats still cared about workers, not just their unions.
Trump made the VA more responsive and supported veterans to get alternatives when VA appointments were too far in the future. He supported rebuilding the military with better weapons, military pay raises, and most importantly he didn’t create any new wars to throw away their lives in. Anyone who believes that Trump doesn’t respect or is cruel to veterans is misinformed, perhaps by the lying media or people with a grudge.
Trump worked for peace in the Middle East and achieved breakthrough peace treaties. Trump weakened Iran and its proxies. Biden & Harris enriched Iran and funded Hamas which pays the families of suicide bombers an amount depending on how many Jews they kill…how can our country encourage suicide bombers?
Trump has signs of dementia? Really? Have you listened to a whole speech by him? He can talk without a teleprompter, Harris apparently can’t. He can go off the teleprompter and ad lib intelligently for many minutes and not lose his place. We should all be suffering from the amount of dementia he has.
Trump’s policies enabled the lowest unemployment rates for minorities and women in decades and lowest ever for some groups. Trump’s policies enabled the first real income increases for middle/lower income Americans in decades. Until Covid the economy was humming. Inflation was low throughout his Presidency. Trump’s treaties finally eliminated the advantages we gave to other countries and their workers to help them recover from WW2, it was about time.
We’ve been giving charity to most of the rest of NATO for 50 years; Trump finally made them move towards meeting their treaty obligations. About time don’t you think?
The global unrest today was enabled/enticed by Biden & Harris and their counterproductive policies, Trump had a much more peaceful world.
If you want to stop gun violence, do what Trump wants: start locking up criminals rather than releasing them, and keep illegal alien murderers out of our country. There are about 13,000 known illegal aliens in the US who have been convicted of murder (and about 16,000 convicted of rape), many came in during this administration and it’s unknown where they are. Does this make a anyone feel safer? Don’t we have enough murderers and rapists of our own? Do we really need to open the border and let them in?
Does anyone truly think that we’ll be safer if the law abiding people give up their guns so only criminals and the government have guns? This worked so well in National Socialist (Nazi) Germany, the USSR, China, etc.
Based on character, who shall we vote for, for President, not sainthood: the former playboy or the woman who “slept” her way into office? Trump is the most investigated and falsely maligned man in human history. Trump freely explains his policies. But, yes, Trump may have is exaggerated how many people attended his 2017 inauguration after false media reports claiming low turnout. Or Harris who won’t tell you what she’d do as President and repeatedly lied about her history and her opponent in the debate, e.g., “good people on both sides”, (if you doubt me watch the videos or go read Snopes)? Harris hasn’t identified, and researchers can’t find, a major crime that she personally prosecuted; she was more of a bully as a prosecutor, going after poor blacks for marijuana crimes and truancy (https://tinyurl.com/43k7wrw8) but not prosecuting Catholic priests, teachers, etc. who sexually abused children (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7125993/Kamala-Harris-buried-investigation-predator-priests-victims-say.html).
Trump made Americans safer and wealthier and the world safer. He didn’t try to take away anyone’s free speech, religious rights, gun rights, any rights; unlike the current administration Trump didn’t send armed SWAT teams to arrest non-violent offenders such as people that prayed at abortion clinics; he didn’t use the Justice Department to prosecute his political opponents; there was an open and shut case for putting Hillary Clinton in jail but he didn’t prosecute her. You can know Trump’s true plans if you listen to him rather than the dishonest media and his political opponents.
Harris hides what she intends to do. She failed to fulfill her responsibility related to the border. She doesn’t seem to care about the millions of Americans who suffer financially or as a result of crime resulting from policies that she says she wouldn’t change. Harris participated in and approved of the failed policies that have destroyed the lives of millions of people in Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Israel and that put us on the brink of a nuclear WW3.
So, I will vote for Trump because I care about peace, safety, the rule of law, equal/blind Justice, our Constitution, and the freedoms and prosperity of the American people, especially poorer Americans and other people’s children, grandchildren, and future generations who should be given better opportunities.
If you want 4 more years like the disastrous last ones, vote for Harris.

I have never written or taken a political stand, but this election to me is very different. Since I am now 80, it may be my last presidential election – the clock is ticking and I do not want to see us move backwards. We have all worked hard on women’s rights, women in business, gays, veterans, and equality. Please do not vote for someone who is going to move us backwards. I do fear for us all if Trump is elected.
We should be kind, support each other – no matter who we are, what religion, what race, what gender or what age we are. If you questioned what Trump stood for, the Madison Square Garden event should have decided it for you. I am not going to list all the horrible comments made or attacks on women, non-whites, etc… you have seen them all in the press (although sadly different publications put a different slant on things – always know where news is coming from).
Character is important. The President of the United States is someone we want our grandchildren to look up to. My grandsons were luckily too young during the first Trump presidency.. But there are now 11 & 12… more aware… Trump is someone not to look up to! I will not list all of his negative traits, there are too many. When Stu died, because he was a veteran, there was a lovely note from Joe Biden. Stu would have been appalled if came letter from Trump who is cruel to veterans.
In addition to all his bad traits, someone who is 78 and signs of dementia should not be the leader moving us forward dealing with climate change, women’s rights, economy, gun violence and global unrest.
Who you vote for is for you to know. I only hope that you will do the right thing for the next generation..our Daughters, Sons, Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews. Please do not vote for Trump. Harris will do better for us and the next generation.
