Stricken from the nightly scripts that our information spigots spew, once again, there exists a clear and obvious correlation between our Founding Era and today.
We’ve all heard about the traitor Benedict Arnold. Well, it seems that his act of betrayal stemmed from a personal belief of being underappreciated and overlooked. His personal beliefs, whether justified or not, caused his treasonous act of deserting to the other side. Therefore, his private thoughts overwhelmed to control his American being, loyalty, and common sense. Like it or not, this is today’s climate. The only difference is the outside influences stirring up this anti-Americanism.
Tell me I’m wrong. Excepting today’s public instigating, what’s the difference between then and now? As much as we are told about the irrelevance of our founding documents, human nature’s susceptibility is timeless and can be tailored to any occasion, including this so-called modernized slice of “social progress.”
With what awaits just around this November corner, it’s ironic that those being offended are actually MAGA Americans who realize what the fake news is promoting. A portion of American thinking is currently mired in doses of the same closed minded negativity as was Arnold’s individual beliefs. However today, it’s being manufactured in bulk, due to the mind’s vulnerability and the vast potential of its possession.
A question arises as to why some, but not all, become so susceptible. Well, the only difference may center around the old common sense adage that “as the twig is bent, so grows the mighty oak.” In other words, regardless of the time period, it all boils down to the family’s child-rearing qualities. Parents who address their responsibilities with a caring willingness will nurture and produce a more stable and self-assured offspring.
For what ever the reason, Arnold ran away from his prominent Rhode Island family, only to serve in the militia at age sixteen; then sometime later became unhappy and deserted, a personal trait which apparently remained alive when he later deserted to join the British.
Fast forward to this modern era of quickie divorces and the government’s instigating tax incentives for single moms. It appears that here at home, the traditional family was on borrowed time, as was its worth to both society and America.
Obviously, today’s landscape was decades in the making but today, the dam has broken. Aside from America’s societal decay, this disorder seems to reflect the views, expectations and priorities of too many citizens. While many remained resilient, others with a less sturdy upbringing, began to search and wander. That wandering brought forth another generation which now has become so disenchanted that it’s willing to “bite the hand that feeds them!”
That quip might mislead but really, how does one justify this demand for destroying local communities and/or major urban areas? Further and immediately more crippling is this lunacy for self-mutilation of one’s gender, and in some incredible instances, with parental approval! The breakdown of the American family unit needs no further guesswork!
This may offend, but being offended, at this point, is inconsequential. As a matter of fact, it’s what the doctor is now ordering! Something has to startle those drawn into this communist trance for destructing America. If not, voting could be viewed, in hindsight, as possibly an act of aggression.
Similar is this hate-filled determination that has taken over the thinking of many good Americans to vote for whoever rather than to think and compare objectively. And “whoever” is exactly what the dark side is offering. Simple comparisons of records and achievements should leave no doubt as to the insult being perpetrated and worse, expected! Not only have they selected a puppet, but one who needs no encouragement for continuing America’s downfall. She, and now he, can’t wait!
As it was during America’s founding, it’s always “we the people” who stand at the crossroads of freedom or slavery. The beauty of the communist’s mind capturing quest is that the only one who has been controlled and limited in thinking can reverse such a program so as to correct and thus save America. Again, as it was with Arnold, this leaves little wiggle room for determining who’s to blame!
