Even members of the population with no clue or little interest in pop culture know what “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain” means. Oz, the great and all-powerful, is a white-haired man running a secret but terror-inducing machine. Barry Obama’s hair is turning white, and it is more or less confirmed that he’s been working the little machine behind not just Biden’s curtain but Kamala’s and the DNC’s.
The entire process (of democracy) appears to pivot on the will of a handful of high-ranking Dems and the Party’s bigger donors. And that’s not a conspiracy theory. Seymour Hersh wrote about it in detail, and it now appears that the debacle of a Debate was a setup to set the wheels in motion that would abrogate the will of millions of Democrat primary voters.
I have several clips to share, the first of which is from an interview between Senator Mike Lee and Tucker Carlson. The subject is the legality of what’s been done to Joe, how it was done, and the likelihood that it was well-planned and that everyone, including the media, was in on it.
Many of us have pondered these questions or wondered about the pivot, given how you can’t trust anything any of these people do, but it’s interesting to see it discussed this way. And no one is surprised to hear it come out in the open that Obama is behind this or that should Kamala fail to unite and prove viable on the road to November, “she can be replaced as well.”They” have the hubris to ignore the process they claim to defend and do whatever it takes to keep themselves in power.
Democrats should be outraged, but I know the hardcore 30% don’t care which meat puppet runs against Trump or how they get into office. The rest of the nation might not be so comfortable with this complete disregard for democracy – from the question of who has been running the country to what that means to them, given they were not elected by the people.
Seymour Hersh Says …
Russell Brand also took a whack at this. It’s the same story, but Brand reads from Seymore’s Substack, from which we get the context of Obama’s involvement and the deliberate, almost cavalier undermining of the will of Democratic primary voters.
Coupled with the interview between Lee and Carlson, we get a clear picture of how the Democratic Party works (Bernie already knows this). Democracy means a small cadre of well-connected elites decide not just who the meat puppet is but what their priorities are and what happens to them if they refuse. And guess what? The media goes along with it, Dems, so they aren’t there to gatekeep for you either. I’m not sure that will inform your choices as we march toward the quadrennial experiment, but not everyone is on board with this.
MSNBC took a black reporter and sat him down with four black Americans and asked them if they knew any brothers who supported Trump and if Kamala becoming the nominee made any difference (also care of Russell Brand).
