Less than 24 hours ago, I wrote about the ‘PB4WEGO’ license plate debacle and the NH DMV’s propensity for infringing on free speech. Near the ended I opined “If history is our guide, she will win, and the State would be wise to back down now, before it is made to look the fool again.” Well, guess what.
Just now, Governor Sununu stepped in on behalf of Wendy Auger and overrode the DMV’s decision to recall the plate.
