We stood up for Senator Ayotte on her vote against enhanced background checks, digging furhter and deeper into the connections and colusion surrounding the lefts undeground and above ground movments to use Federal action to undermine local gun laws and local control.  An investigation whose reward was a special kind of abuse and even implied death threats from the progressive tin-foil hat brigade.

Republicans often promote the idea of supporting amnesty for illegal aliens but the numbers are not in their favor.  Over 70% of Hispanics in the US legally already vote Democrat and have for years.  Amnesty would just make it easier for the 30 million or so illegal immigrants to emerge from the shadows to add their votes to the Democrat tally with more legitimacy.

But, I can see John McAmnesty McCain estblaishment Republicans rubbing his hands together at the thought of getting potentially 9 million votes for the GOP if they just aupport Amnesty in any of its forms.   But that’s not likley.  Defacto amnesty will produce 30 million new Democrat voters and piss off the 25-30% of Hispanics who still vote Republican because they opposed manesty.

The DCCC has been sending out holiday cheat sheets for years, proof that Democrat voters really are too stupid to know what their own talking points are or how to articulate them.  That’s doubly funny because I know what they are without even looking.

I support Marilinda Garcia for NH’s Second Congressional District seat 110%.

She’s a social conservative – but, I would judge, pragmatic on libertarian issues – leans libertarian but only leans.

She’s honest, very bright, articulate, attractive in demeanor, very accomplished, a very good speaker, a hard and absolutely reliable worker. She has lot’s of energy. She’s proved herself over and over again in the trenches – in real-life political and legislative warfare – in the NH Hampshire House and around the State House – as a leader of the House’s Real-Republican caucus – and you know what I mean by that.  She’s made her bones.  She needs no further vetting so far as I’m concerned.

Marilinda is the perfect candidate for fiscal conservatives.  She’s the perfect candidate for social conservatives. And, for those libertarians who may doubt her bona-fides – she will never sell the essential tenets of either the NH Constitution or of the Bill of Rights out.

The Sustainable Communities Initiative, part of Agenda 21, and locally known (in New Hampshire) as Granite State Future, uses Regional planning to con communities into signing on to a host of mandates with the promise or rewards.  The Faustian bargain separates taxpayers from elected decision makers who get cut out of the process and are inevitably forced to meet whatever arbitrary mandates HUD, EPA, and other unelected agencies see fit to force upon them, as it occurs to them to do it, in perpetuity, without elected officials or voters having much if any say, ever.  The end.

One of the primary legs on this many-legged stool is workforce housing and forced neighborhood diversity.  The feds come in and redefine zoning, destroying any existing notion of property rights, to control, adapt, and diversify neighborhoods to their one-size-will-fit-all-or we’ll-fine-you-cookie-cutter centrally planned template.

Well a study just released from the Michigan State University suggests that it wont work and it’s a bad idea, as if we needed a study to tell us that.

Progressives are regressive. They are people that are truly mired in ideological bog, unwilling to adapt to the world that is. Anyone whose had the pleasure to read the Grok for any stretch of time is surely to have noticed the word “regressive” mordantly used in place of “Progressive” when referring to those that characterize themselves as one.

The HealthCare.gov / Obama Care rube-goldberg-Three-Stooges episode shines a klieg light glare on this truth for anyone honest enough to admit what they’re witnessing with their own eyes. There is indeed more truth in this substitution of progressive for regressive than one might initially suspect. Not if you were mine, sonny.  Although the BG post is about the fact that young people are NOT going to get the tax subsidies they thought they were promised (yet another expired Obama campaign promise – welcome to the ‘screwed over Club”, young’uns – you got pwned), it was this smiling fool that caught my attention.

He’s all full of himself – “look at me, I’m still sitting at the kiddie table!“.  That’s exactly what I thought then and thought now – voluntary infantilization at the behest of the Obama ideology (where the more depending on Government teat, the better).

As part of Obamacare, the Feds nationalized the college level student loan programs – and a lot of Leftists complained about the profits that banks and other loan brokers were making (sound familiar – they’ve been saying the same thing about insurers and the healthcare industry).  Too much on a vulnerable population (and we heard calls to make ALL higher learning free).  So, how well has the Obama Administration done in eliminating profit?  Oh, you don’t say (emphasis mine, reformatted)!

Government books $41.3 billion in student loan profits

The federal government made enough money on student loans over the last year that, if it wanted, it could provide maximum-level Pell Grants of $5,645 to 7.3 million college students.  The $41.3 billion profit for the 2013 fiscal year is down $3.6 billion from the previous year but it’s a higher profit level than all but two companies in the world: Exxon Mobil cleared $44.9 billion in 2012, and Apple cleared $41.7 billion.

So, I hear ALL the time from environmentalists about Big Oil profits – large in the aggregate but smaller when you actually look at the profit margin but a discussion that includes profit .  So, how will it be explained that Big Government is making all this profit on the poor, struggling, young students?  A most vulnerable group according to Democrats!  Er, isn’t this the SECOND way that the Obama folks are screwing the young  as Obamacare is making them donors for wealthier Seniors in the Exchanges?

So many false claims have been made for Obamacare that I did some research about medically caused bankruptcies.  What I found indicates that Obamacare will probably INCREASE, not decrease, medically caused bankruptcies.  

“Bankruptcy facts”: “63% of filers blamed credit card bills.  50% blamed mismanagement.  37% blamed pay cuts or job loss, and 28% blamed medical bills.” And, “89% of filers still get credit card offers on a regular basis.”  (see: http://goo.gl/vH12Fw).

 In her book ”The Fragile Middle Class…”, (now Senator) Elizabeth Warren claims that two out of three bankruptcy filers have lost a job and 40% of bankruptcies result from medical crises, unemployment or divorces.  (http://goo.gl/vH12Fw)

I mentioned Tom Harvey here on what our first President, George Washington, had to say about Citizens, guns, and their relationship to Government (even ours).  GW made it clear that the purpose for Citizens possessing firearms was not for hunting, not for sports, but for defense.  While many would think that latter purpose is for self-defense (and it certainly is) this defense was that against a tyrannical government “which would include their own Government“.  Also notice the “should have sufficient arms and ammunition” to guarantee one’s freedom.  No, unlike what we hear from gun grabbers, GW made it clear the Citizens need to be prepared to act against such a Government that would remove their freedom (“a state of independence”).
