A few days ago during an interview, New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen made some pretty egregious and outrageous statements about her own constituents.

Last week we discovered a New Hampshire House “tradition” of which no one else appears to have been aware. The permanent record, the written history of what is said and done in the lower chamber of the Granite State’s Legislative body, is subject to random acts of review before becoming permanent. There are plenty of reasons to be bothered by this, not the least of which is that the most recent excision was based on the words being “too political.”

That’s right. We’ve got a room filled with 400 politicians–give or take–and the litmus for edits to the permanent record is whether or not something is too political?

Or rather, the US Federal Government Ambassador to New Hampshire, Jeanne Shaheen.  Seriously, you REALLY think that I have a semi-automatic rifle to “do bad things”?  H/T to Grokster Kimberly who picked this up at Buzzfeed:

“Well, I think people need to have their voices heard, and what I’ve heard from people in New Hampshire is they think there’s reasonable legislation that we can pass including things like looking at the types of weapons that so easy for people to get,” the New Hampshire Democrat said on Mitchell in the Morning on Monday.

She lives in an echo chamber of her own mind design.  And no, it isn’t as “easy” as she makes it seem if you are buying a gun at retail – there’s NICS plus whatever else an individual State has for its gun laws.   Trust me, if she were to come and talk to the folks that, you know, actually shoot, she’d get a schooling in what’s what.  Like f’instance “Freedom is“.  Simple, that.  Freedom is just that – Freedom; it needs nor requires any explanation or justification (she hates that, btw).  The ability to live without the intrusion and interference from Government snooty noses / busybodies / Holier than thou’s that all have that Progressive “tell” (or tick, your choice) that says “I say you don’t need that”.  Freedom is the ability to tell someone – I don’t HAVE to “need” and you don’t get to tell me otherwise.  Especially when it is a Constitutional Right.  Folks like her have no consideration that my pursuit of Happiness (and real word there should be Property). But that’s what Progressives are – you are only allowed Freedom that we allow that we have determined that will “evolve” you to their idea of a Utopian resident. And she’s willing to lie to get there:

Here in NH, Article 2-A says it far better than the Second Amendment:

[Art.] 2-a. [The Bearing of Arms.] All persons have the right to keep and bear arms in defense of themselves, their families, their property and the state.

Words have meanings – certain meanings.  In my understanding, Article 2-A says exactly what the 2nd Amendment  means and far plainer so that the civilian disarmament lobby can’t twist things (never saying that at the time of its writing, for instance, that the “milita” is ALL of us). I’m certainly not an absolutist but given what Kelly Ayotte said tonight on the US Senate Floor, I do wonder what the rest of the Second Amendment supporters are going to do come November

And we are the LAST people she wants to tick off.  All that has to happen, given the fight for her Senate seat by Maggie Hassan, is she trying to “middle size” herself?  God help her (actually, please don’t) if she decides to go to the center on abortion, given the last election’s treatment of the NH GOP top candidates.  Yet, she, a layer and former Top Lawyer as NH’s Attorney General (and ran, at least at times, as being guided by the Constitution), said these words:

So the US Attorney General Loretta Lynch said they were going to put out “partial” transcripts of the calls that the Orlando Muslim Jihadist made to 911 – but only partial so as not to further his propaganda (paraphrased).  Well, bless her heart, of course we knew what was coming because she said something BEFORE she mentioned the transcripts – and it all came down to what she called him on Meet The Press ( transcript via RedState). I told TMEW that the terminology switcheroo would not stand even if the fix was in:

LORETTA LYNCH: Yes, I’ll be going to Orlando on Tuesday to continue my briefings in the case. Actually though what we are announcing tomorrow is that the F.B.I. is releasing a partial transcript of the killer’s calls with law enforcement from inside the club. These are the calls with the Orlando P.D. negotiating team who were trying to ascertain who he was, where he was, and why he was doing this, all the while the rescue operations were continuing. That’ll be coming out tomorrow and I’ll be headed to Orlando on Tuesday.

No, the Orlando Muslim Jihadist was not a “killer” – he was a Muslim terrorist.  But hey, Obama is the self-acknowledged smartest person in ANY room and certainly he knows for sure what is both solid Islam (“they aren’t Muslim and that’s not Islam”)  and Christian heterodoxy (“I know better what  the Little Sisters of the Poor’s religious beliefs are than they do – the HHS contraceptive mandate”).  But hey,

Beginning in 2004 the State of Massachusetts has had an annual sales-tax holiday during which the state’s 6.5% sales tax is not charged on purchases. In 2009 they skipped it over budget concerns, and this year the state government is having that discussion again. See if you noticed what I noticed?
