VA blows more money on unused TVs

“The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works — whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified.” – President Obama, Inauguration (2009) Well, since Steve beat me to the VA malfeasance on … Read more

Data Point – Taxation without Representation

Voter Fraud lives! Oh wait, it’s dead….really dead…so fraud fraud lives!

voterfraudEmphasis mine, reformatted:

New York Democrat Relies On Dead Voters To Get Ballot Access

Vote fraud exists. No one knows to what extent it exists because there is no government agency actually looking at it. When ever a state does look at it the potential for fraud is enormous. For instance, in 2014 North Carolina identified at least 35,570 people who were registered to vote in North Carolina had also voted in other states. Academic research suggests that votes by illegal aliens might very well have tipped the outcome of close elections in several races. In April of this year, the primary in the Maryland Democrat stronghold, Baltimore City, was decertified for numerous irregularities, not the least of which being more votes cast than there were registered voters in several precincts. And vote fraud comes in a lot of shades and is not limited to casting votes in an election. Using fake voters to gain access to the ballot is probably a much greater problem than having them show up at the polling place.  For instance this:

The Long Island Democrat seeking to replace retiring Rep. Steve Israel in Congress is relying on dead voters to get on the ballot, The Post has learned.

Tom Suozzi is collecting signatures to appear on the ballot as both a Democrat and an independent of the “Fix Washington” party in hopes of attracting reform-minded voters in the race against Republican state Sen. Jack Martins. But some of those who have “signed” apparently pulled off a miracle — because they’re dead.

Blogline of the Day – Socialism makes powerful men rich

Fresh Off His Campaign to Make Socialism Great Again, Bernie Sanders Buys $600,000 Summer House. And remember, the richest person in Venezuela (that Socialism turned from being one of the richest countries in South America to one of the poorest even as it has more oil than the Saudis) is the daughter of the late … Read more

But then Chuckie Schumer is just ducky on penalizing the rest of us?

Olympic Gold medal RioVideo after the jump.  US Senator Chuck Schumer (NY-Progressive D) decided that the IRS handing out tax bills for American Olympic medal winners is unAmerican, that according to his presser,

“…However, because the money is considered “earned income abroad,” the monetary value of the Olympic medal is therefore subject to federal taxation…who work hard year-round…from being forced to pay taxes on their medals…unfairly taxes them…”

So, Schumer is just fine with creating yet another one of those “loopholes” that Progressives are always railing against?  Look, I don’t have a problem with Olympians getting a tax break.

Sidenote: “tax loophole” can be, when uttered by Progressives, means “WHAT?!?!?!  We missed grabbing more of your hard earned money for our use??”  “Tax break” is when Progressive grants some favored or “oppressed” (in this case, Olympians being oppressed by the US Government)

But what about everyone else working long and hard for the successes they reap as well?  Why does Schumer ignore the “rest of us”?  If taxes are a penalty and we are “forced” to pay taxes on our “winnings” (earnings), why is he so happy in piling more lashes on top of our backs?

“Free money” – a great example of why we’re $19 Trillion in the hole

NH Democrats say its free moneyFree money!  Free money!“; all the politicians and spenders love “Free money” when they deceive themselves and lie to us that “it won’t cost you a penny”!  Now Concord NH is doing it again.  Loudon Road is the main commercial drag in town and it is time to do a re-paving.  And once again, “the kicker” is that “free money” is available to do that from a higher level of government IF (and only IF) it is done according to its diktat.  Repaving is a $1.1 million cost to local taxpayers (and keeping its current 4 lane configuration); the State pays pretty much the whole thing if Concord does it the way the State demands with 2 lanes and a “turn lane” in the middle.  This quote from Concord City Councilor Keith Nyhan sums it up:

“I think really logically for me, the only option is to go with the three-lane design,” Nyhan said. “Take the quote ‘free money’ from the federal government, save our own taxpayer dollars.”

Is this the level to which we as a nation have dropped, that it is always a case to foist off costs onto others?

Oh, and is Nyhan signaling a “take the money and screw’em anyways” with this one?

Vets Die on Wait Lists While VA Blows $400 Million On Green Energy Failures

Because bailing out your Solar Buddies is a bigger priority. The contracts for the 11 projects reviewed by investigators totaled about $95 million, though some have become more expensive because of poor planning and delays. The VA spent more than $408 million on its “green management program” solar panel projects between fiscal years 2010 and 2015, … Read more

What a great learning experience!

The news media, spurred by their handlers in the Democrat Party machine, have a twofer. They have an opportunity to attack Trump AND the NRA at once with the manufactured story about Trump and gun violence.

The only thing better than linking the NRA, a non-existent threat against Hillary, and Trump would be another chance to fabricate a link between Donald Trump and the KKK.

We all know that international finance felon George Soros pays Media Matters staff to pour over every word Donald Trump utters to ferret out the key components of a Saul Alinsky-style misinformation campaign of target-and-destroy. I wonder if the Alinskyites at Media Matters get paid by the feigned outrage they can generate?

Let’s take the Democrat narrative from this latest fake outrage piece by piece.

Dan Rather Comes Out For Alinsky

dan-rather
Why yes. Yes I am a raging progressive d-bag.

Dan Rather is out on the campaign trail! He wants everyone in the media to shame Trump supporters. Most notorious for being a shameless Democrat mouthpiece who gave up his career in exchange for over selling a lie about George Bush’s military record, Rather is at it again.

Rather has a great idea – SHAME Trump supporters.

Well, it isn’t his idea. It is right out of Rules for Radicals under TACTICS:

Kathy Sullivan Better Get Driving

Cruella DrivingGood News Garage has been operating illegally in New Hampshire. Current State law requires them to have a license they do not have. This problem came to light after Executive Councilor Dave Wheeler objected to pig-piling another quarter-mil on top of the $1.7 Million in taxpayer support the ‘Non-profit’ already soaked out of our pockets.

In the aftermath of that math problem, Kathy Sullivan, former Chair of the State Democrat Party, wanted to know how poor people would get to job training or work, a problem since exacerbated by the discovery of the licensing issue.

The Devil’s In The Details and The Blue Dress

Monica Lewinsky
Monica Lewinsky

A left-wing politician from California has started a publicity stunt, using her elected office, to attack Donald Trump. This is a great way to keep NOT talking about the Clintons and Obamas.

The idea of forcing The Donald to take a psychiatric exam is not plausible or legal – but if it was – oh boy!

I always wondered why, when it comes to medicine, science, and evidence, that no one ever tested the blue stain on Monica’s dress for cocaine. That thing must be hanging around some dusty old office somewhere.

“You Didn’t Built That” Revisited

you-didnt-build-thatI would like to re-visit the Obama, “You didn’t build that,” slap at business people the progressive tax and spenders are so fond of repeating. They seem to feel that because roads are built with tax dollars they have the right to extort more from business than what they paid when it was time to build and maintain the roads in the first place. In their elitist minds, all roads lead to a successful person’s wallet – forever.

So let’s step back and take a look at this “We built that for you and now we want our share,” mantra progressives with Harvard degrees think is a winner.

A Fake Veteran’s PAC

Has anyone else gotten a fundraising letter for the anti-Trump “veteran’s group” called the Common Defense PAC? Here is their most recent correspondence with the FEC.

Seems they must have sent their fillings to Hillary Clinton’s private email server – cause they are lost.

From the FEC August 1, 2016:
