Mayor Caroline McCarley, through the Mayoral equivalent of an executive order, had the buildings department remove all the American flags hanging from light posts in town and replace them with Gay Pride (Rainbow) flags.
There is a gay pride parade in Rochester, New Hampshire this weekend, the same weekend as the 15th anniversary of 9/11, and it doesn’t look like the American flags will be back in place until Monday.
Dunno if it’s “hot” but certainly enough quantity to rival all of the chuckleheads running for office, right? (H/T: LIKECOOL)

Several anonymous sources are suggesting that the NHGOP is pining for the return of recently retired NH State Senator David Boutin. But Boutin is not running you say. The primary is next week you say. This is all wild speculation you say.

Last night WMUR held two gubernatorial debates – one between the Republican candidates and one between the Democrat candidates. In each debate it seemed some candidates were trying to out-progressive (Democrats) or out-conservative (Republicans) each other.

Last weekend at the Defending the American Dream Summit, Political Buzz sat down to interview Arthur Brooks. Brooks is the president of the American Enterprise Institute and author of the book The Conservative Heart. Brooks spoke at the event about freedom, poverty and people and how it is conservative values and policies that actually help people out of poverty.

So, I’m reading a column from the Keene Sentinel about New Hampshire’s Moose population. The premise is that if nothing changes there will be no Moose in New Hampshire by 2045.
I’m trying to keep an open mind but the narrative strains credibility.
Warmer springs and autumns create better conditions for ticks who have a detrimental effect on Moose. I believe that. And if they say there are fewer moose I believe that. But the tone hints at years of such conditions (as a result of Climate change) when that just isn’t true. And I was still ready to let that go until I read this.
