The Manchester schools have been struggling to provide students with the most basic education. It’s sad to watch, but no one seems to care about making sure these kids get a quality education. Now we find out that they are continuing down the path of failure by pushing the WOKE agenda on students, instead of teaching them to read and write.
Where is Manchester Proud? The’ve been engaged in this district for years. How much money have local businesses wasted on Manchester Proud? They should be using their money to elect board members who are committed to academic excellence, not this WOKE ideology.
Now, parents are reporting that their kids had to complete an assignment on power and privilege.
Now that the word is out and parents are upset, Manchester is trying to do damage control.

If YOU live in Manchester, YOU PAY For this. It doesn’t matter if you have kids in the school, this should get every resident showing up to the school board meeting, and telling them that this is unacceptable. Who’s the leader of this school? The Superintendent. Someone needs to call for her resignation at this point.

You can see that other districts are willing to flush tax dollars down the toilet too.
If you are fed up with your taxes going up, then get to the school board meetings. Elect board members who will hold the people working in these schools accountable. Start firing the people who are diverting from a focus on academics to a focus on WOKE ideology. This is the kind of assignment that treats children of color as if they are less than their peers. They teach them that they are nothing but victims, and unable to accomplish anything.

The administrators are gambling with the funding they receive from the federal government. These are the kinds of things that will cause the district to lose funding. That will fall on the backs of taxpayers.
The Manchester School District in New Hampshire received $91 million in pandemic-era federal funding, which was the most in the state, and the highest amount per student at $2,983. They also received $7.6 million in federal grants to implement a student behavioral health and wellness program and another $2.5 million for community schools.
