What would our wonderful Sun-King, Chris Sununu, say? Not to hard to imagine: I am NOT a big-government guy; I am NOT a culture-war guy. The government has NO business telling a private company what it can and cannot do. Blah, blah, blah.
Based on the Big-Pharma propaganda they were spewing to justify corporations coercing people into shooting up with an experimental drug, New Hampshire’s phony “think-tanks,” etc. would be spewing the same the Dodgers are a private company mantra.
Actually, Major League Baseball operates under an anti-trust exemption granted to it by the federal government. In other words, Major League Baseball gets special treatment from the federal government other businesses do NOT get.
But inconvenient facts like that won’t stop the fweemarketeers … like Sun-King Sununu and his cronies … from continuing to make the totally ridiculous argument that we don’t have a “fwee market” if corporations can’t push woke down our throats without any pushback, not even criticism.
