Big city school superintendents are scratching their totalitarian itch. “Public school students in Philadelphia will have to wear face coverings at school for 10 days after their winter break, officials said.”
The mandate, which will run from Jan. 3-13, is aimed at reducing the spread of respiratory illnesses after a holiday season likely filled with more social gatherings and increased exposure, the school district said in a statement on Thursday.
Philadelphia is among state and local agencies around the United States rolling out mask mandates or recommendations this month to fight a new surge in virus cases, which is expected to grow as Americans travel and socialize around the winter holidays.
Rolling out useless mandates and Dr. Meryl Nass would like to know,
- How did the Superintendent know on December 14 that there would be a spike in cases after the new year, and that it will last exactly 11 days, from Jan 3 through Jan 13?
- How does he know that the masks the kids are sent to school with reduce infection? He doesn’t.
- How does s/he know it won’t impair the kids’ education. He must know the opposite is true by now.
- The Superintendent is calling it a “proactive measure.”
- We know this is about making sure the public understands that those invoking “public health” are in charge, the masks will never completely go away, and regardless of any net gain or loss for the children (or the teachers) you will do what we say.
- Philadelphia was one of the US cities where the local health officer ordered vaccinations of kids aged 12 and up without parental consent.
- Last winter Rochelle Walensky warned, in the WaPo, that the masks could come back if cases rose…
Maybe it would be easier for these progressive tools if they just handed out armbands (black or rainbow would be my first best guesses). It’s not like they will be any more effective than cloth or medical masks, but you’ll get them used to their future as stooges for the regime without compromising their health.
Or is that the point?
