Hanover Right To Know – What’s in YOUR School Library?

Hanover School District SAU70

WARNING: The material at the bottom of this post is NOT work-friendly – not for younger children either. You’ve been warned!

As I surf the ‘Net, it’s clear that Public Education is still in the news all around the US.  One of two things is clear: Either they LIKE being a punching bag, or they just don’t care what conservative and of faith parents think of them.  As the US goes more secular (and NH continues in becoming even more unchurched), one of the prime places that young children are going to be “learning their morality” is from their teachers, many of whom are crazed Woksters believing they have the right to indoctrinate them.

And nothing says “indoctrination,” like having pornography in school libraries available to our little ones.  Do YOU know what your child can access?  Parents all over the country have been finding out the hard way. When they do, they head back to their school boards to tell off their elected representatives…

Sidenote: STOP referring to them as “school board members” – you voted for them, you elected them – they are your ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES that happen to sit on a school board. Change that point of view of their and demand that they become more responsive to you AS elected representatives.

So, as I did last week to my School Board, I dropped this on the Hanover School Board:

Subject: RSA 91A Right To Know demand – the SAU 70 Library Card Catalog

Good afternoon,

Please find attached to this email my Right To Know concerning the District’s card catalog for its libraries. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me

I have reproduced this RSA 91A demand below.

Thank you for your lawful response.

And the RSA 91A demand itself:

Pursuant to the Right to Know Law (RSA. 91-A:4 (I) ), I am demanding access, within 5 business days, to the below enumerated governmental records. Otherwise, if this cannot be fulfilled within that mandated window per RSA 91-A, please advise when the Responsive Records will be made available.

This request is for the Hanover/SAU 70 School District library “card catalog”. This is for any and all books located in the following:

  • District-wide “main” library
  • Each school within the District’s “main” library
  • If a school has multiple “main” libraries (such as Brockton High, Brockton, MA)
  • All classrooms with cataloged books that are tracked by the District.

The information for each Responsive Record shall include:

  • Name of the book
  • Name of the Author(s)
  • Content Summary
  • ISBN identification (or other such designated ID)I
  • Name of the School
  • If a School has multiple libraries, a designation of which library is being referenced (in the case of Brockton High, the five libraries: Red, Azure/Blue, Green, Yellow, and the Science libraries)
  • Name/designation of the Classroom within a School

Per RSA 91-A:4 IV(c) If you deny any portion of this request, please cite the specific exemption used to justify the denial to make each record, or part thereof, unavailable for inspection along with a brief explanation of how the exemption applies to the information withheld.

As you are aware, in 2016, the New Hampshire Supreme Court ruled that a governmental body in possession of records is required to produce them in electronic media using standard common file formats: Green v. SAU #55, 168 N.H. 796, 801 (2016). Unless there is some reason that it is not reasonably practical to produce such, explain why it is not practical to comply.

Please also note, per RSA 91-A:4 III, III-a, and III-b, you are required to maintain the safety and accessibility of such responsive records. This also includes such responsive records (e.g., emails) which may have been deleted from respective Inboxes but are still available on the applicable email server or in your / email host backup system(s).

Please let me know when these records will be sent to me for inspection. You may email the responsive records to me at Skip@GraniteGrok.com. If the volume turns out to be substantial, I have already set up a Dropbox folder to use in uploading those responsive records.

Thank you for your lawful attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Skip Murphy

After all, their school librarians had already donned their “stick in YOUR eye” attitude in starting a celebration of “sexuality Molon Labe” towards such parents that want to keep their kids as innocent as possible for as long as possible.  IMHO, there is no valid reason why elementary students, especially grades K-4, should be involved with this early sexualization of our kids just because schools believe they can override how parents wish to raise their children.

Like this (Hanover’s Richmond Middle School Library) sent to me by a concerned parent who is STEAMING that this is going on behind their back:

Hanover Richmond Middle School Banned Books Week

(click to embiggen – and yes, I have asked for a “360” set of pictures to see what else is on that circular table).

And yes, explicit pornography in some of these books.  In fact, here’s a parody that was also sent to me of their “Banned Book” celebration week.  And yes, this is not kid friendly and it does break Rule #1 but I can’t figure out how to make a better impact than showing EXACTLY what these school librarians are demanding to show your impressionable kids:

Celebrate

SAU 70 Banned Book Week

Sep 18- 23

Come celebrate all of the books deemed too inappropriate by other schools to have in their libraries.

Come to the Richmond Middle School Library to express your support.

Watch how 11 year-old boys perform oral sex on each other with step-by-step graphical instructions in Gender Queer

Experience how 10 year-old boys enjoy fellating grown men in Lawn Boy

Learn how to taste your own vaginal slime in Gender Queer

Admire how the 9/11 first responders were subhuman racists in Between the World and Me

AND SO MUCH MORE!

Let’s all thank the following SAU70 leadership for their courageous work bringing these wonderful books to our school

Chris Putnam-Pouliet (Librarian): chrisputnampouliot@sau70.org

Tim Boyle (Principal): timboyle@hanovernorwichschools.org

Yet this is what YOUR school system(s) are promoting to your children.  Are YOU ok with this?

So, let’s see what’s in their wallets card catalog?  Or better put, what’s hiding in YOUR child’s school libraries?

UPDATE before publishing:  I did get a response from the Hanover School District Chair:
