Goodbye Norma Jean: England Bids Farewell to Queen

Crown

I could hardly believe the news this past weekend when I learned that British nobility, Her Royal Majesty Elton John, had passed away. While on tour in Australia, the queen was attacked by a crocodile, tripped, and fell trying to escape only to plummet headlong into a rock. The irony of it all was not lost on fans who stood outside and sang “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”.

It seems just like yesterday, all her troubles were so far away when Saturday nights were alright for fighting and she was still standing.

After many years of Philadelphia freedom, it was the last time she would sing your song. It seemed like the sun might never go down on the queen but we are reminded that life, fleeting though it be, is like a candle in the wind. I guess that’s why they call it the blues.

In attendance at the funeral were long-time colleagues Bennie and the Jets, John’s close friend Daniel and a midget known simply as “Tiny Dancer”.

As the United Kingdom mourns their great loss, their request for privacy and not go breaking their hearts at this time will be honored by Bananas Global News. John joins other famous royal queens who have passed on in recent years including George Michael, Freddie Mercury, and Elizabeth the II.
