Don Bolduc Still Has 21-Point Lead on Chuck Morse in Latest UNH Senate Primary Poll

Don Bolduc has been running for this seat for years. He ran against Shaheen but lost in the primary. After Shaheen won re-election, Bolduc announced he would challenge Hassan in 2022. His closest primary challenge Chuck Morse jumped in only recently.

Morse only announced because NH’s ‘Five Families’ knew they couldn’t control Bolduc, so Chuck got picked to throw whatever he tossed into the ring. The GOPe checkbook, if I had to guess.

And trust me when I say this; if the polling holds and the General moves on the General Election, while the typical pantheon of Republican NH donors probably won’t get in the General’s way, they won’t be helping either.

Comments like “we will support all the primary winners in the general election” don’t mean squat.

And Bolduc will need money to get on TV. It will be hard to come by from that lot if true to form.

The General is the sort of guy who takes oaths of office seriously, and as much as they GOPe would like to pluck Democrat Maggie Hassan off the DC teat, the small (r) republican money-people don’t like that. They would rather have Hassan than someone like Don Bolduc.

It’s just a fact.

And while we can’t do much about that, we can ensure that Gen. Don Bolduc’s commanding lead in the latest UNH poll turns into victory in two weeks and in November.

And yes, that 20% undecided could make this a more interesting race than the headline indicates, and yes, all the other candidates plus the undecided have less total support than Bolduc.

So, who is taking voters from whom? I know my mind; your thoughts below, please.
