“It’s not happening in my kid’s school.”
“That type of indoctrination only happens in the big cities.”
“New Hampshire’s schools aren’t promoting these types of things… are they?”
“No one is coming for your children.”
How much worse will the blatant propaganda have to get before New Hampshire parents stand up en masse and say “Enough Already!”?
To those of you with rising 7th and 8th graders in NH public schools, have you helped your child select their summer reading yet?
I was shocked when my daughter showed me the list of “approved” books from the 2022 Isinglass Teen Read list.
I expected to see some literary classics like “To Kill a Mockingbird” or “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.” Unfortunately the list of 12 books my daughter “must” choose from made me shake my head in shame.
Of the 12 books, at least three or four of them center around teen LGBT issues, including a complete bastardization of Cinderella. One is about encouraging revolution within the middle school over the dress code. Another is about a young “LatinX” girl who finds out her father is a * gasp * … Republican and how she must stand up to him and his policies.
The icing on the cake was the final book in the list, co-authored by Mr. Critical Race Theory himself, Ibram X. Kendi (but don’t worry, our schools aren’t teaching or promoting CRT). The person seen promoting this book flaunts how this is one of the top “banned books” in America. She then goes on to read some brief passages from the book including the names of some key figures the authors wish to highlight, most notably the Marxist and Communist Party USA member Angela Davis.
Don’t worry, while you and your spouse are working 9-5 jobs, these publicly funded daycare institutions you leave your children with for 8 hours a day aren’t brainwashing your kids with propaganda.
