Happy Independence Day (a few days early).

It’s Independence Day Weekend and in New Hampshire, that means at least one thing. You’ve been or are about to listen to fireworks every night for days and days.

It’s a big business around here and we sell a lot of them – including to residents of surrounding states where you can’t buy them even if using them might get you busted.

Not here. You can hear them all year round but not as often as now. The shop parking lots are packed, the lines long, and people are excited.

And that’s a good thing.

We hope you each get a chance to not just see a town display if you have one or are near one but one of those is sometimes better than the town’s backyard versions. The proximity of “Right There” adds to the effect. Or, maybe you run your own show.

Just be careful

So! These two videos were shot at the Londonderry Fish and Game Club a few years back (I’ll get some new ones this year). I thought I’d share a minute or two to get things started.

Happy Independence Day (a few days early).
