Boy, did I call this right last night! I said during the Public Comment session of the Gunstock Area Commission (GAC) meeting last night that the resignations of the Gunstock Mountain Resort Sr. Management, as well as the narcissistic (IMHO) Commissioner Gary Kiedaish, was the culmination of a massive Saul Alinsky-style political stunt and disinformation campaign.
If you don’t know who Alinsky was, he was a Communist community organizer of the top tier – Obama was one of his acolytes. His political stunts in trying to move Power from the Haves to the Have-nots are legendary. His operational rules are here with the result of always having your opponents, in this case, Conservatives, appear to be the bad guys by creating stunts/events using those rules.
In the case of the GAC, it was the opposite – the Already Powerful and Rich (prior Commissioners Gary Kiedaisch, Rusty McLear) saw that the now Conservative Delegation was unhappy with them and took their “play toy” (control of the Belknap County owned Gunstock Mountain Resort) away from them by appointing Conservatives to the GAC.
So they recruited Brian Beihl, formerly of the uber-Progressive/Socialist political group called Open Democracy NH. He is the principal political consultant to the shadowy group, Citizens for Belknap PAC, trying to interfere with proper legal oversight of Gunstock by both the Belknap Delegation and the Conservative members of the Gunstock Area Commissioners.
BTW, Open Democracy NH seems to have ties to organizations believed to be funded in large measure by George Soros (e.g., Open Society, Tides Foundation – both extremely rich Leftist funding organizations.
Ever since then, a political war has been waged – well-orchestrated and very well funded to discredit each and every new Commissioner BEFORE they even took their seats.
At each meeting, it was clear that political chaff was thrown up to both diffuse looking into what may well turn out to be malfeasance. The only thing I was off on was not that Tom Day (CEO) and Cathy Young (CFO) would resign (just before the final lawyer’s report on what happened during the last makeup of the GAC) but that more of them followed suit.
Again, chaff to obscure wrong-doing? There’s another round of reports from financial and legal auditors that were hired by the current Gunstock Area Commissioners.
From my sources, these may well be very damaging to the reputation of the resigned Commissioners, a number of resigned former staff (and perhaps the Governor himself)?
I’ll just drop “hotel” here for later.
Once again, Baby Huey has shot his mouth off without total and factual details.
So, NO COORDINATION?
Forsooth! What should have merely been a local county-level affair has “inspired “His Excellency, Governor Baby Huey (aka, Chris Sununu, the man that doesn’t even approach being half the politician of his Dad) to chimed in, right on cue, with a pile on both the Delegation and GAC:
Are they all working with former Open Democracy NH Brian Beihl, Chris?
Or is this a result of Gary Kiedaish’s shooting his mouth off that he had “an in with the Sununu’s” for later political activities, so this is NOT unexpected from Sununu?
And in shooting HIS mouth off and wading into this local controversy that has NOTHING to do at the State level, Sununu didn’t bother contacting the current Chair of the GAC or the chair of the Belknap Delegation, thus knowing very little of the true details.. I guess that being Conservatives, they aren’t his cup of TEA.
What’s left – Bob Guida getting a sinecure like the former Speaker of the House, safely ensconced within the bowels of Government, for endorsing Tim Lang to take his place as NH State Senator?
Oh, speaking of Tim Lang (head of the “Lang Gang” who created “the chaos” within the Belknap Delegation that has been mentioned in past)? Again, right on CUE as he hates the majority of the NH Delegation:
