The link/email address below is for those on the Election Committee. They will be discussing the SB418 bill on 4/8, which is Friday of this week.
I ask everyone one of you to support this bill which tightens our elections by forcing those who vote without an NH ID to produce an NH ID within 10 days or their vote will be discarded (basically be removed from the count before the election is certified).
This is not perfect, but better than we have today.
In the 2020 election I heard of 18,000 ballots were cast by people with out-of-state IDs and in some cases that swung the outcome of the election and they never produced an ID within 90 days as required (producing ID by 90 days is a joke because the election has been certified).
Keep it short, simply write 2 or three sentences about why you want this bill to pass. Also, no need to harp on the 2020 elections, they are well aware of that.
