School Districts Spying on Parents to Get Them Fired, Transgenderism in Kindergarten, Trans Suicide, and More! – Stack of Stuff Part 22

It’s been a while (September 2021, to be exact) since I last did a compendium of how badly school districts have decided that they are the end-all-be-all when it comes to “owning” your kids.

Go ahead, go to your school Board, and demand what is really being taught!  After all, this is what might happen to YOUR child or grandchild. Another one of those cases where a District kept secrets from the parents AND DISTRUSTED the parents because of their Christian beliefs:

After a 12-year-old girl attempted suicide on school property twice after months of secret meetings with a school counselor, her parents have filed a lawsuit.

…When the Perezes arrived at the school they waited in the lobby for 20 minutes before someone came to escort them to a room where Washington, PES Principal John O’Brian, Vice Principal Courtney Schumacher, and a Clay County Schools Police officer were waiting. Mr. and Mrs. Perez were instructed to sit down. According to the federal lawsuit obtained by The Epoch Times—filed Jan. 24 by Child and Parental Rights Campaign, Inc. on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Perez—Washington told the Perezes the reason they were called to the school was because their daughter “had tried to commit suicide by hanging herself in the school restroom.”

Washington then informed the parents the reason why their daughter tried to kill herself was “because of her gender identity issue” and the fact they would “would not be in agreement with these changes” because of “their Christian Catholic religious beliefs.” As the Perezes sat reeling, Washington stunned them again. The Jan. 5 suicide attempt was the second effort. Their daughter had also tried to hang herself the day before. Without explaining how the child survived the first attempt, Washington insisted school staff was not aware of the first attempt prior to the second.

…According to the complaint, the daughter sought guidance from the counselor because she was being bullied. She liked video games, which is something her peers say boys do. A friend “confided she thought she was transgender,” and the girl thought she could be transgender as well because “she wanted to be strong and free ‘like a boy.’” When the child went to speak to Washington, she saw “a lot of posters, literature, and other promotional materials related to LGBTQ ‘pride’ in Washinton’s office.” The girl “thought those materials were ‘cool’ and asked Washington if she supported transgender people.” Washington said she did, at which point the child told Washington, “In that case call me ‘M’ and ‘he.’”

Grooming.  Too many times, we have to use that word but what else to call it?  This goes FAR past “affirming” and into evangelizing. And the school, after the FIRST SUICIDE ATTEMPT, didn’t bother to inform the Parents as to what had happened????  Go to the link and read more of this.  I DO hope that the District has to pay millions upon millions of dollars.

And, with this next story, how they want to destroy parents when they go against the District’s aims and  Narratives. As always, reformatted and emphasis mine:

Elena Dinverno, a parent, filed a lawsuit in 2021. The Center Square has more, but this operation is straight-up insane. Dinverno alleges that the school district’s harassment led to her employment being terminated  (via The Center Square):

…A lawsuit filed on May 3, 2021, claims Dinverno advocated on two separate Facebook groups to reopen schools in-person: “RCS Parents for In-Person Education” and “Conservative Parents for Rochester.” Dinverno asked other parents for video testimony of how virtual school was hurting kids.

In a February 3 deposition, Superintendent Robert Shaner admitted he called the parent’s employer over a parent’s social media post encouraging protesting private homes over virtual learning because he was “scared.” Shaner said he believing the woman had submitted a written threat to the district, although never asked further details. He defended the district’s surveillance of parent social media accounts in the deposition.

The lawsuit alleges that RCS public relations members Amy DiCresce and Lori Grein were assigned to compile a dossier on district parents’ social media posts and comments critical of the school district, which were circulated to school officials.

Can you get any creepier than that? Who works for whom?  And who came up with the idea that government spying on parents was such a great thing in the first place?  But like all things Progressive, Free Speech is only allowed when spoken by the Left, I guess.  The rest of us are still Domestic Terrorists…

And THEY are the ones doing THIS to our kids?

“These parents feel betrayed by the school district that they were not notified,” said Karen England with the Capitol Resource Institute.  At Monday night’s board meeting, the teacher at the center of the controversy spoke out. With emotions high, she addressed a packed house.  “I’m so proud of my students, it was never my intent to harm any students but to help them through a difficult situation,” she said. The teacher defended her decision to read two children’s books about transgenderism including one titled “I am Jazz.” She says the books were given to her by a transgender child going through a transition.

“The kindergartners came home very confused, about whether or not you can pick your gender, whether or not they really were a boy or a girl,” said England. Parents say besides the books, the transgender student at some point during class also changed clothes and was revealed as her true gender. And many parents say they feel betrayed and blindsided. “I want her to hear from me as a parent what her gender identity means to her and our family, not from a book that may be controversial,” a parent said. “My daughter came home crying and shaking so afraid she could turn into a boy,” another parent said… “It’s really about the parents being informed and involved and giving us the choice and rights of what’s being introduced to our kids, and at what age,” said parent Chelsea McQuistan.

Teachers?  Staff?  THEY are in charge!

Many teachers also spoke out in support of what transpired inside the classroom. They spoke about the importance of teaching students about diversity and having healthy dialogues.,,“When we head in the direction of banned books or book lists, or selective literature – that should only be read inside or outside the classroom, I think that’s a very dangerous direction to go,” said 7th grade teacher Kelly Bryson.

The district says the books were age-appropriate and fell within their literature selection policy. Unlike sex education, the topics of gender identity don’t require prior parental notice….

Really, Sexuality and lifestyles aren’t sex education?  That’s a loophole defence, not an answer. And what would Parents make of THIS District’s decision and teaching?  OK, Groomers!

A Washington school district is pushing gender identity on 7-year-old kids. They even asked the children for their personal pronouns. The Edmonds School District developed lesson plans on self-identity that includes the claim that sometimes, gender does not exist. Other times, a person can have two genders. First graders learn about the “nonbinary experience” and teachers are told to ask students to list their gender identities so that “gender nonconforming” students can feel more comfortable.

While a district spokesperson argues the lesson plan is mandated by the state, Edmonds goes above and beyond what state law requires. Perhaps it’s why the district refuses to disclose the full curriculum to the public.

… One parent upset that her son was given this material without her consent tells the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH that she was prompted to complain to the district. She said she felt it was her duty to stand up for children. “Our child is 7 years old and in the first grade! This material is completely inappropriate for children this age and is the reason the state of Florida is looking to legislate this issue,” the mom wrote the district.

And they certainly aren’t getting this way from their Parents, I bet, so that leaves only one source for this grooming:

The goal of the Cultural Marxists behind the LGBTQIA+ Supremacy push is to indoctrinate vulnerable children into embracing destructive anti-Biblical lifestyles. They have to get them when they’re young before they start forming their own ideas; prepubescent children are the easiest to convert into falsely believing they are somehow part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The reason is obvious. They don’t have the hormones, life experiences, or common sense to tell them otherwise. This is why radical progressives are so adamant about teaching five- to eight-year-olds about adult sexual topics. It’s why they have hideous programs like Drag Queen Story Hour. And it’s why this fourth-grade teacher in Austin is not only angry about gay “Pride” not usurping other causes, but also claimed that 20 out of her 32 students came out to her as LGBTQIA+.

And if Parents, via their taxes, are paying for the “public schools” curriculum, why should they be able to see it?  WHY do they have to sue to get their hands on it?  The essence of good governance is openness and transparency – school districts, seemingly, are unwilling to be that.

A Michigan mother filed a lawsuit against her local school district after it failed to comply with a Freedom of Information Act request seeking access to curriculum materials tied to critical race theory .

The Mackinac Center filed a lawsuit on behalf of Carol Beth Litkouhi, a mother from the Rochester Community School District in Michigan who had attempted to review curriculum materials for a course taught in district schools via a FOIA request. The district had denied her request, along with another seeking access to the district’s diversity, equity, and inclusion training materials.

Parents have a right to know what is being taught to our children,” Litkouhi said in a press release . “It is incredibly disappointing that the district continues to refuse to be transparent and has stonewalled my efforts to learn more about what is being taught in the classroom. Michigan parents deserve better.”  The materials Litkouhi sought were for a class titled “History of Ethnic and Gender Studies.” Ethnic studies classes and diversity, equity, and inclusion training programs are sometimes known to contain aspects of critical race theory, which claims U.S. institutions and culture are systemically racist and oppressive to racial minorities.

And yet another School District sneeringly holds that Parents are the problem:

The war on parental rights is everywhere, and it seems that last year’s gubernatorial election in Virginia wasn’t a strong enough warning to the radical left to stop undermining the rights of parents. The latest outrage comes out of the Eau Claire School District in Wisconsin, where a slide shared during a staff development training session instructed teachers that parents are “not entitled” to know their kids’ gender identity.

The slide, which was obtained by Empower Wisconsin, says the following:

Slide 56- Talk amongst yourselves!

Facilitators, guide this discussion. Remember, parents are not entitled to know their kids’ identities. That knowledge must be earned. Teachers are often straddling this complex situation. In ECASD, our priority is supporting the student.

Several school board candidates released a joint statement in response to the revelations.

“We are appalled that ECASD would display such blatant disregard for the parents and guardians of our community’s children,” the joint statement reads. “We are equally dismayed that current school district leadership would pressure teachers into breaking a social contract that we all know and understand—that parents and guardians hold primary responsibility and decision making for the welfare and care of their children.”

“They’re asking them to withhold that from the parents. They’re asking teachers to keep secrets,” Nicole Everson, one Eau Claire School Board candidate told WQOW News 18. “They’re asking teachers not to communicate with parents about issues that pertain to their child.”

Earned?  Really?  This is the ultimate “Daddy Government, may I please”? situation – again, who is in charge (versus who SHOULD be in charge)?  WHO GIVES TEACHERS THIS POWER? Even if you are supportive of this transgender movement, this should scare you as a Parent.  After all, if the schools have gone this far in eliminating Parents from this kind of knowledge, what’s that next shoe that will drop?  What ELSE will be taken away from you?
