I saw the ad for CNN+ the other day, and I’m glad I wasn’t drinking anything when it popped up on my Prime Home page. I would have laughed that liquid up through my nose and across the room. Who at CNN thought anyone would pay more for more CNN?
The Cable News Network (CNN) has miserable ratings, and those are propped up by airport screens and other public places where people are 1) trapped and 2) can’t change the channel. But someone decided that this product – endless fabrications, manipulations, and fearmongering BS – would attract a paying audience.

This might have been a more realistic strategy.
I recall someone suggesting airports install coin/bill slots near their TV banks; $1 = 15 minutes of no CNN on TVs in the area.

Let’s package our failing brand and charge a premium price. How did that meeting even go?
We’ve been wrong about the Trump campaign, COVID, Hunters Laptop, J6 (that’s starting to unravel), hiding things for Biden – all of which we could have covered correctly had we done actual journalism. Let’s bundle that failure, feature known liars and propagandists, and ask people to pay extra! We’ll call it CNN+.
I can see Democrats making everyone else pay for that, but they won’t, and neither will you.
No one’s signing up. Projects subscriptions are way down. And rumor has it that come May 1st, when its new president takes over, they’ll need to cut bait after dropping millions to market CNN+, which had to be a lot like promoting the Democrat utopia with a straight face.

No, I don’t think it will.
But it affirms a suspicion we’ve had about the network for a while now.
There’s a room full of chimpanzees at the headquarters who have been placed on mushrooms or some higher-order psychedelics. When not flinging poo, their job is to come up with programming ideas.
James O’Keefe should have some undercover video about that any day. Or maybe not.
We’ve already seen that video. These kooks are all-in on the Passion of the Marx (no monkeys needed). Karl Marx never had a real job and spent most of his life living off the work of others. That guy created an economic system to justify his lifestyle, and look – Joe Biden. Same guy. Same “success” story, except Biden, used the government to make himself and his family wildly rich while using that same government to try and make everyone else poor.
And CNN’s covering for him too. But the same people who won’t pay more taxes, no matter how patriotic they claim the act, aren’t lining up to pay more for CNN either.
And the experts at CNN didn’t see that coming.
