9th Circuit – Oberlin College Still Has to Pay Gibson’s Bakery 31 Million Dollars for Defamation

Remember Gibson’s Bakery? The SJW establishment tried to cancel them back in 2016 after some black yutes were caught trying to steal wine. The College embarked on a war with students, teachers, and administrators, labeling the Bakery as racist.

It encouraged public shaming and a boycott up until Gibson’s Sued Oberlin College, and even for a while after. Then a court awarded the Bakery what amounted to 30 million in damages (25 million-plus court costs).

Oberlin appealed and lost.

Despite the students’ guilt, Oberlin College and key officials, including its vice president and dean of students, accused the bakery of racial profiling, claiming that owner David Gibson and other employees assaulted the students and had a history of racism. At trial, the jury heard evidence that college officials distributed flyers containing the false accusations and encouraged students to boycott and protest the store.

I’m sure they still can’t understand how that’s possible.

Three students arrested for shoplifting admit their guilt, while Oberlin goes on a whirlwind smear campaign based on the idea that the accusations are the arrest were racially motivated. I think we know that this is what these cloistered ideological elites believe.

Look at the summer of BLM. The release of criminals back into the population. They encouraged the destruction of minorities and their businesses, the complete disruption of calm or any sense of safety or security – because it advanced a political agenda.

Democrats have no problem breaking eggs, but it’s not to make an omelet. For many of them, the revolution is everything, especially when they don’t think it has any chance of showing up on their doorstep.

Destruction is the goal, casualties are expected, and wounded allies are supposed to take it.

Oberlin’s elite ignored the legal facts and went to war, and this time it had a price tag. Thirty-one million dollars.

In my opinion, it’s not enough.
