Local elections are coming up in New Hampshire, but not everyone seems concerned about their chances. Judy Strakalaitis is the supervisor of the checklist in Derry, NH (the voter rolls), and she’s got some unflattering things to say about some of the voters in her town.
Judy has had held the position since 2010, by the way, and maybe, just maybe, it’s time for a change.
Judy isn’t giving herself enough credit. She does a fine job of finding the words there and here.
While the local elections are non-denominational (as in non-partisan, no one runs for them by party affiliation), it is clear that Judy is about as biased a hand and mind as can be imagined. A registered Democrat living in a Republican majority town.
In other words, she is badmouthing the majority of people over whose voter checklist she is charged with supervising.
Given this self-admission of hate for you, voters in Derry may want to consider any alternative to Judy Strakalaitis. Might I suggest, Katherine Prudhomme O’Brien?
The election is next Tuesday, March 8th, just a few days away.
