So What Happens When a School District Goes “Woke”? Exactly What You Think for Academics

SAU16, Exeter School District, is about the “Wokiest” district in NH (with honorable mentions to Hanover, Laconia, and Oyster River – and I’m open to other suggestions).  It’s well known that DIE (Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity) has taken over district after district.  Studies have shown, however, that trying to re-engineer/indoctrinate kids socially according to the Left’s ideology, standardized test scores flop faster than a junkie on fentanyl.

Sidenote: we all should be using, instead of DEI (or DEI-J), just DIE because once a school district goes Woke, it’s concentration on that causes something else to die.

That would be Academic rigor. It’s taking your eye off the ball. It’s a severe distraction from what we pay all these folks for – teaching our kids academically instead of constantly “socializing” them on stuff we’d absolutely be aghast at (if they’d they straight and stop lying to us).

And some Parents in the Exeter Co-operative District have shown what happens when schools go from Academic to Wokeistan:

SaveSAU16 is comprised of parents who came together around concerns with our local schools. We are residents from Brentwood, East Kingston, Exeter, Kensington, Newfields, and Stratham. Most of us have children or grand-children in SAU16.  Others are simply residents who care.  What we have in common is a deep-seeded worry about what is happening to our once great school system.  This community is filled with people who came here for the schools, and rightfully so as our schools have some of the highest paid teachers in the state. Given the right environment, our students are just as capable as any past generation in succeeding at the highest level, but here in SAU16 they are not.

SAU16 Exeter school declines

As you can see, every single elementary school within SAU16 shows a drop in it’s rankings.

Just a few short years ago CMS was ranked 8th in the state. It is now holding at 38th.  Many of us who moved here several years ago recall that EHS was ranked in the Top 3, but now it has fallen to 13th.

And look at why they are concerned! If their staffs are the highest paid, they should be achieving scores that in the top of the State rankings.  Hey, Exeter Co-operative School Board, who among you are ARGUE FOR better rigor – and which among you are all in on this distracting DIE stuff. And Teachers, is this the best you can do?

Really, from 25th to 69th?  How bad is that when the good news is “only” a drop of 10 spots for Brentwood in the top level?

Or are you proud that every student knows their ze, zir, and zirs (and don’t get me started on “neopronouns” and treating kids that believe they are furry animals (Cats and litterboxes, anyone?)?

Hey, Parents in other schools – if your District has gone Woke, do you know how much your district’s concentration on Wokeness is costing your kids in academic learning – and how much higher your taxes are going simply to pay for overhead admins (like “DIE-J Administrators”) that do nothing to teach the basics?  What are you going to do about it???

Sure, all your kids can spout the pablum that is “Diversity is our Strength”.

Now ask them about The Rule of Law, Our Rights, the Constitutions, simple match problems, can they read, and history?  Do they know of our American history?  Capitalism?

Or are they anti-American?

Go Woke and DIE and your kids education dies along with it.  While this is a single anecdote, studies are starting to the same.

Let me know.
