The Left would disarm every citizen in America except for a select few based on the possibility that someone might use a firearm in a criminal act or to harm another. This is well-documented, and they are quite enthusiastic about getting it done.
These are the same people, more or less, who believe that men (mostly white men) are sexist bigots, pedophiles, and rapists. There are entire factions within the Democrat party who insist that looking at a woman is the same as rape. They, too, are pretty enthusiastic about this premise.
They want us to believe that men on college campuses are raping young women at rates of statistical improbability. And then there’s the #MeToo movement which targets anyone that (typically) targets men of influence or authority who misuse their positions to get women into sexual situations against their will or better judgment.
At the same time, the same people are offended by any objection to allowing “men” who might misuse or abuse the opportunity into women’s locker rooms and bathrooms.
These once safe spaces have been pried open by the Dems in the interest of protecting the so-called rights and access of those claiming to be transgender without any inclination to protect the women with whom these individuals will be mixing.
If a girl or woman gets attacked or raped, the Dems go into cover/distraction mode.
The fact that a woman or girl was harmed is less important to them than whatever other political benefit they perceive from the policy they defend.
- The Dems gun sense policies produce more violence, injury, and murder.
- Their public policing priorities produce more crime.
- Their welfare plans create more dependents.
- Their Housing plans create more homelessness.
- Their drug war creates more addicts.
- Their economic plans make even the basic economy unreachable to more Americans.
- Their energy plans create foreign dependence and price people out of necessities.
- Their public health plans result in more misery and death.
And on top of all of that, you’re not black, or gay, or a woman, or even transgender, if you disagree with their failed left-wing politics.
America’s not far from better. We just need to stop electing Democrats.
It’s that simple.
