Shoveling: absolutely brutal earlier this morning. The rain froze bottommost and then the 1.5″ sleet that fell on top that packed itself up hard. I told TMEW that she is not to go out because there’s still thin ice on top of our pathway. It’ still sleeting so there’s no use in salting or sanding. I gave up the idea of snowblowing as the back is refusing to cooperate. If you have the same thing, a snow shovel will be absolutely useless. Straight edge normal shovel served a good snow “shaver”.
Where was the 6-12 inches of snow I was promised??? Is it me or is WMUR REALLY just wanting to rile up the Weather Panic Porn lately? Have they not heard of the phrase “under promise and over deliver?” especially for those of us that really LIKE snow?
