I’ve had this thought in the past. Federal and state mandates have put tremendous pressure on Insurance companies. Hospital and death benefit claims are squeezing them hard. What that’s the point?

This trinity would allow them every part of your everyday life. The elites, the experts, would have achieved their utopia. No, it’s not a world full of rainbows, harmony, John Lennon’s Imagine on loop. It is a nation or world where they control you.
ObamaCare was an assault on insurance. Nationalizing the middle. They already had something of a monopoly on the ends. But that didn’t go as planned because expert planners are just idiots with a God complex. But they are persistent.
The past two years have seen a series of demands that could, maybe I’m reaching, wipe out what few small insurers remain while the big ones are being leveraged. Pushed toward, in my opinion, a place where they may have no choice but to become something like public-private partnerships.
Overly reliant on Federal money, like a lot of US states who can’t balance a budget without it.
That money includes strings, rules, demands, one of which will, at some point, be the nationalization of health coverage.
If the Feds control all health insurance and the hospitals and doctors are already dancing on their string, all but a few – the elites themselves – will be beholden to central planners.
The Federal Government will make all quality of life decisions. They can decide who gets treatment and who does not. Who lives and dies.
