That’s One Big Mac, a Medium Fry, a Large Coke – And Have You Been Vaccinated?

Several decades ago, McDonald’s opened its first Ronald McDonald House (RMHC). They offered places where families of children receiving long-term care at a nearby hospital could stay. Typically the families of kids with cancer.

It has grown into a tremendous global good whose broader mission “…is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families.”

It is an underappreciated expression of corporate caring that does much good for many, but the COVID Cult has come to mess with that too.

In British Columbia, the Ronald McDonald House needs to amend that to “Children and their families who have been vaccinated.”

A Ronald McDonald House in British Columbia is under scrutiny after a notice was sent to all tenants stating that anyone over the age of 5 who remains unvaccinated by the end of January will be relocated to alternative housing, CityNews reported.

Canada is over the moon for vaxx mandates, and the culture is seeping into everything. Quebec, for example, will be “imposing a health tax on nonvaccinated residents, and proof of vaccination is required to shop in government cannabis or liquor stores.”

A cross-border requirement that starts today requires truckers to show proof of vaccination to travel between the US and Canada. At least 30,000 are expected to lose their jobs though that number may be as high as 50,000. They and the loads they hauled will be sidelined.

So, yes, our already hobbled supply chain is about to take a political mandate bullet to the back of the head, and no one seems to care all that much about the impact this will have on children and families, and not just those of abruptly unemployed truckers.

The RMHC order in BC Canada is but a reflection of this chaos. Whether you believe it is planned or just another example of unintended consequences is up to you. The fact remains that there are nations who have embraced tyranny in the wake of their own panic porn, and with the possible exception of electoral consequences, none of them is likely to suffer as a result.

In the US, many – mainly to the left – would gladly embrace the worst of what the world has come to define as the new normal – a top-down totalitarian regime that dictates every aspect of daily living.

They tried it with class war, race war, and even climate war, but it looks like they’ve found something better.

Not that they’ll give up on any of the other schemes. Now that they know how to scare you into giving up your freedom, they’ll never stop using it to their political advantage and the demise of the American Republic,

The obvious next question is what do we do.

The answer, as it almost always is, would be to push back locally and work your way up the political food chain, starving anyone who defers to centralized control of the resources used to make that possible.

Get them out of elected office and keep them out because they are not clowning around.

I know, easier said than done.
