If anything is going to bring the US down, it is this nasty Culture War between the two outlooks (and no, I don’t drink alcohol but, well, you know). Normal people vs Woke people.
People who wish to just be left alone and are willing to leave others alone versus those with the false sense of Superior Morality that judges EVERYONE from the beginning of time to the present.
Even if that Superior Morality changes radically in the next 15 minutes. And they certainly, as Super Karens, refuse to leave you alone until are absorbed. And if you DARE defy them, you are vilified to the Nth degree (just ask Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema how that has worked for them simply for being traditional Liberals within the Democrat Party versus the Socialist Squad and Socialist Caucus).
Liberty vs Wokeness. Freedom versus lockstep. Individualism versus a tightly controlled Collective (shaded by the use of the now highly abused word “Community” used to cut off debate).
Free thinking vs ideologue. Science vs “social construct”. Independence vs Government dependency
You get the idea.
Don’t, as the Knight Templar in “Indiana Jones and the Holy Grail” observed: “He choose poorly”.
