Is this is a case of that old saw, “Age and Treachery Will Outdo Youth and Skill” or, maybe – don’t mistake a sense of revenge for kindness!
Enough people nowadays think that playing “Checkers with People” is sufficient and can get away with a lot of things that aren’t nice.
Until they try playing checkers (like this young lass obviously thought) with those that are playing “Chess.” The young lass learned that she had been outplayed because she didn’t wargame out all of the possible moves – she only moved one piece one time.
The moral is, don’t tick off older people – they generally have WAY more experience at “loopholing” your lame game.
And you end up getting better acquainted with The Law of Unintended Consequences.
