The Self-Destruction of Public Schools

Earlier this week the U.S. Attorney General issued a memorandum calling on the FBI to address parents who attend school board meetings to voice their opinions.  He does mention those who have been violent or made threats of violence. I would hope those rare instances have been addressed by local law enforcement because that kind of behavior is unlawful and should not be tolerated.

By getting the FBI involved, he’s trying to politicize frustrated and angry parents into silence. These parents have had enough of their rights being thwarted, and their schools dumbed down. Those who do threaten or act violently in any way can be addressed by the local police department. There is no reason for the FBI to get involved – there are laws in place.

I’ve attended school board meetings across New Hampshire as a parental rights advocate focused on academic excellence in the classroom. Just think if academic excellence and parental rights were the focus of school administrators. They wouldn’t have angry parents showing up at board meetings and they’d be the best advocates for public education. But many have lost their way. They care more about national woke fads than they do the quality of the education they are in charge of.

Parents across New Hampshire have been voicing their opinions on issues like school shutdowns, mask mandates, and Critical Race Theory. Parents want to make medical decisions for their children, avoid bias and political indoctrination, and just have their children learn the basics of academics. Is that too much to ask for? Apparently, the answer is YES.

School administrators have lost their way. They are more focused on a woke social agenda than your children learning their times tables and science. They are so hyper-focused on pushing social engineering that the academics are lost.

Do you still not understand why parents are so angry? They want administrators and teachers to DO THEIR JOB. You’ve put good teachers in a bad place by forcing these measures in the classroom. And those teachers who think the public schools are a vehicle for this garbage are helping in its destruction.

Enrollment is plummeting, parents are pushing harder for school choice programs, children are being subjected to radical indoctrination, and parents want it to stop.

As these public schools self-destruct, the tech industry is right there to step in with their products. After all, this blueprint was laid out several years ago. Move children to a new education model where they sit in front of a computer with a teacher who works for an EdTech company in some other state teaching your children over the internet. Your children can sit at a local community center with facilitators who will be hired to walk around the room to babysit your kids.

Tying your children to a computer means big profits for the EdTech industry. They not only make money off of the products they sell, but they have a way of collecting massive amounts of data on your children too. Data is GOLD.

Don’t expect the heads of the Teachers Unions to object. They won’t, they signed up for this. You might be scratching your head right now (especially if you are a teacher) wondering how it is possible that the heads of the teacher’s unions would sign on to this agenda. (See the last page of the document linked below to see who signed off on all of this.)

Education Reimagined doesn’t hide any of this. Scroll down to page 10 and look at the columns. Notice how they remove the teacher from the classroom? Their jobs will essentially become obsolete. It makes you wonder why Superintendents would be needed?

Maybe there is a bright side since they are facilitating the destruction of public education in America. We might as well get rid of them too. If these kids are at the community centers, there’s no need for a Superintendent. A low-level administrator can work in the public schools that remain. They will be there to educate children with special needs. There will be no need for top-level executives.

Think this isn’t possible? The former and now disgraced Governor in New York put these wheels in motion in 2020. Cuomo and Bill Gates decided what’s best for your kids, and your public schools. They put forward an initiative to “re-imagine” education. They did receive massive pushback because parents want their children to attend a school with a good and highly qualified teacher instructing their children.

Just because they received pushback don’t think this initiative is dead. No way. They will continue to figure out ways to get your kids in front of EdTech products and computers that profit the EdTech industry. It’s about $$ folks, it’s never about your kids.

That takes me back to angry parents. As they see their schools self-destructing while school board members sit back and let it happen, parents are finally rising up and trying to stop this sinking ship.

I don’t know if it’s possible to stop public schools from self-destructing at this stage, but remember who was responsible. It wasn’t those of us who simply wanted a traditional education for children where academics were prioritized and parental rights were honored.  It was the woke mob who thought that parents would roll over and accept this dumbing down and trampling of their individual rights.

Superintendents would be wise to stop the madness. Go back to focusing on academics and start showing some respect to parents who want their kids educated. Otherwise, a few things will happen; parents will continue to speak up or they will fight for school choice measures. Either way, they are fighting for their kids now and these are the kinds of parents who will protect their children no matter what it takes.
