You may have heard something about an armed insurrection. That thing back in January. The one where not a single person was armed. Oh, and after ten months, not a single person has been charged with insurrection either.
That should make for a great headline after all the noise the media has made about it. Insurrection this, insurrection that. Oh, look, a way to provide a balanced update. No one was charged with insurrection. Maybe we should ask Team Pelosi about that, given that she and her party have worn that word out since January 6th.
Insurrection is an actual thing for which you can be charged. The FBI has focused on little else, it seems. So, a curious mind might wonder how many people are charged with that. You know, the insurrection thing.
Rep Louis Gohmert has an inquiring mind.
Rep. @LouieGohmertTX1: "Has any defendant involved in the January 6th events been charged with insurrection?"
AG GARLAND: "I don't believe so."
GOHMERT: "Well that is the word most used by Democrats here on Capitol Hill." pic.twitter.com/pWIWtJKg7U

Marrick Garland, America’s Top Cop, is unaware of any. Not one. And this is Merrick Garland. He’s that guy the Obama fellow nominated for the US Supreme Court. That dude the Dems were gaga over. A thoughtful, independent, moderate, whatever else they said, you know the drill.
Garland is the guy threatening to arrest parents at school board meetings under suspicion of domestic terrorism if they raise their voices. Perhaps he means to arrest them but not charge them?
What sort of government does that again? Oh, that’s right, ours.
And no one has been charged with insurrection.
That’s interesting.
A fact you can bring up the next time some local Dem starts drunk tweeting or sober tweeting, there’s no measurable difference about the insurrection, or whatever.
By the way, does anyone need portable barrier fencing? I think they have some at the US Capitol. We could send it to the southern border. I hear they could use it down there.
