Joe Biden Is Baghdad Bob

If you’ve not been around long enough or stumbled across the reference, Baghdad Bob is the nickname of Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf. The Iraqi information minister during the first Gulf War. Amidst crushing defeat he repeatedly pronounced Iraq’s success.

Talk about “do your job.” Of course, he probably had to do his job or he’d be killed, so there’s that. But the point is that al-Sahaf was the frontman for imminent failure. The Republican Guard was nothin’ when confronted with Coalition troops. This brings us to the O’Biden administration and Baghdad Joe.

Jen Psaki is not Biden’s Baghdad Bob. That would be F. Joe Biden. He is “his” Administrations Baghdad Bob. Whoever is running the Biden Administration (WRBA) sends him out like a lamb to the laughter, knowing, as in Iraq, that no one is going to ask any serious questions or challenge any assumptions.

F. Joe, just, you know, rambles on or says something irrelevant or loses his place or doesn’t answer any questions at all because that’s a minefield for the addled Biden. But when he does, they have planted softballs from pro-Biden media. It’s an imperative.

He does not have the luxury of circling back without significant resources to direct him, and when he’s out front that’s not an option. All they can do is reel him in and run cover two and hope no one catches anything deep.

Psaki bats cleanup (mixing my sports metaphors, yes I am) and she can say she’ll circle back all she wants but that’s code for F-You, we’re not talking about that. But we can talk about talking about circling back.

So, in a nutshell, Joe is America’s Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf.

He doesn’t know what’s going on he only knows what he’s supposed to say about it and, in Joe’s case, he gets it wrong most of the time.

But they keep sending him out.

I think it’s to distract us from all the crap that’s going sideways. And let’s face it, in the end, they can just blame it all on him and what’s he going to do about it.

C’mon, man how could I be responsible for any of the stuff you told me to do?

And Joe won’t even be able to commit perjury or do time because he’s mentally unfit for trial and yet he’s still president.

State your name for the Court. I think it’s Brandon.
