Jimmy Carter Must Be Very ‘Excited’ About the Biden Presidency

New Hampshire Democrat Franklin Pierce may be one of the least known and least regarded US Presidents, unlike Jimmy Carter. Carter had the misfortune of leading a miserable economy and a deteriorating global situation that he arguably made worse. Being unknown would be a gift.

Biden’s massive F-ups must be something of a relief to the peanut farmer from Georgia.

I’m not implying the former President is pleased with any recent developments, geopolitics, or loss of life specifically. He’s a misguided elite whose support for progressive policy has done greater harm than good, but I do not believe him to be that callous.

No, Carter may view Biden as a chance to be the worst president in modern history no longer. A distinction that could or should have belonged to Barack Obama but his idiot his vice president was promoted to the highest office by the party of Pierce to unleash havoc on the globe and across the fruited plain.

Seven months in, Biden’s place in history is likely set. He is an addled incompetent failure never suited nor prepared for higher office. A man was promoted by force of will, not public will, who will either be ushered off the stage or fall off it.

Jimmy will be demoted (promoted?) to the second or perhaps the third-worst modern president, though only briefly.

With Lunchbox Joe’s imminent departure, we’ll be saddled with President Kamala Harris, who may well eclipse Biden, pushing Jimmy to third or perhaps even fourth, and that’s something to smile about.
