Yesterday … on the eve of the Fourth of July weekend, the New Hampshire Supreme Court UNANIMOUSLY ruled that a 2017 voter registration law requiring proof of domicile (Senate Bill 3) was unconstitutional.
The written decision is undeniably political-judging … start with the political outcome that you want to reach and then concoct some legal-sounding argument to reach it. The bottom line is this: If you are actually domiciled in New Hampshire it obviously CANNOT be burdensome … never mind “unduly burdensome” … to provide proof. And no amount of supercilious legal-legerdemain from the New Hampshire Supreme Court can change that fact.
The practical effect of the decision is that the Democrats have been given the green light to import thousands of illegal voters into our State as the election approaches, who will then cast their illegal votes and disappear into the political ether.
