Big Abortion Is Spending Big Money in NH to Tell Even Bigger Lies

I had someone on Twitter send me some graphic listing all the horrible things Republicans passed in the State Budget trailer Bill. I told them I was not convinced and asked to see the language in the bill that proved these points. I never heard from them again.

They were told they should be outraged but never bothered to read what was in the legislation.

It was all a lie – like the ongoing big money media dump over New Hampshire’s 24-week abortion ban, also passed in the budget trailer bill mentioned above.

Groups like Emily’s List, a conception to (some point after) live birth abortion advocacy group, are spending big money in New Hampshire to lie to Granite Stater’s. Outright lies. Not just wholly invented “facts” not at all in evidence (there no such language is in the bill), but lies that contradict the Left’s own media.

And the biggest lie may be about the ultrasound “requirement.”

Ultrasounds

Ultrasounds are only mentioned once in the bill. Their purpose is to determine the age of the fetus so as not to run afoul of the law.

“[T]he health care provider shall conduct an obstetric ultrasound examination of the patient for the purpose of making the determination.”

Think of it as a basic background check to ensure that a planned abortion is not violating the law as written. A may issue license if you prefer (as opposed to shall issue which the Left abhors).

If the result of this “background check” proves the fetus is younger than 24-weeks, then performing a non-emergency abortion will not violate the law.

That’s the truth.

The lie is that these ultrasounds are dangerous and invasive, but there’s no such language in the bill. It calls for an obstetric ultrasound like the one pictured in the featured image above. Millions of these procedures are performed annually all over the world, often during a normal office visit or by appointment at a nearby health care facility.

There’s nothing invasive or dangerous about that.

If you’re still unsure the ISUOG, “the leading international society of professionals in ultrasound for obstetrics and gynecology,” has an instructional video for ultrasound technicians freely available on YouTube. It explains how to perform this “invasive and dangerous” procedure.

Warning: There is nothing to warn you about.

There is an abundance of videos of this dangerous and invasive procedure all over YouTube. Just search obstetric ultrasound.

And most of them are live-action, meaning real people, not animations, with blurbs like “the process of discovery and meeting your baby.”

Stop! It’s too much! I can’t handle the truth!

No, I don’t suppose you can.

Big abortion is lying and they are spending big money on a big marketing campaign to frame the law as ill-conceived and dangerous. To big abortion, perhaps, and the democrat campaigns they fund, but not to pregnant mothers.

And if you’d like a bit of contrast (just to be annoying) ask this question. How much safer for women is a regular obstetric ultrasound compared to unapproved COVID19 mRNA experimental vaccination?

Hint: the ultrasound is safer.

One more point, because they are lying about this as well: The legislation allows abortions at any time when the life of the mother is at risk.

For the purposes of this subdivision only, “medical emergency” means a condition in which an abortion is necessary to preserve the life of the pregnant woman whose life is endangered by a physical disorder, physical illness, or physical injury, including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself, or when continuation of the pregnancy will create a serious risk of substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function, as defined in RSA 329:43, V, of the pregnant woman.

Boom!
