Critical Race Theory – Unpacking My Stack of Stuff. Part 3

Ashleigh CRT instructor

Sorry that I missed a couple of days on posting this kind of stuff up so time to get moving on it. First up is the MOST important thing Normal people can do – put your butts into the seats that matter!

The battle to win control of school boards from the grip of racial indoctrinators is like Normandy Beach. Everything hangs on the outcome. Lose and a generation is lost. The outcome will determine whether your children learn to see themselves and other people as individuals, instead of merely members of a racial group. Parents of all ethnicities who never dreamed of getting involved in politics need to step up now. Parents are already outraged by the indoctrination their kids are getting in school. White kids are shamed as racists and oppressors. Black kids are taught to think of themselves as victims. And the nation’s history is being presented as something to despise.

When parents object to this brainwashing, school administrators respond with doubletalk, denying its “critical race theory,” and insisting schools just want to be inclusive and diverse.

And for this next one – by the great Victor Davis Hanson – the important question is being asked: Are Americans Becoming Sovietized?

  • There was no escape from ideological indoctrination—anywhere.
  • The Soviets fused their press with the government.
  • The Soviet surveillance state enlisted apparatchiks and lackeys to ferret out ideological dissidents.
  • The Soviet educational system sought not to enlighten but to indoctrinate young minds in proper government-approved thought.
  • The Soviet Union was run by a pampered elite, exempt from the ramifications of their own radical ideologies.
  • The Soviets mastered Trotskyization, or the rewriting and airbrushing away of history to fabricate present reality.
  • The Soviets created a climate of fear and rewarded stool pigeons for rooting out all potential enemies of the people.
  • Soviet prosecutors and courts were weaponized according to ideology
  • The Soviets doled out prizes on the basis of correct Soviet thought.
  • The Soviets offered no apologies for extinguishing freedom. Instead, they boasted that they were advocates for equity

Go read the actual post.

Americans’ views about school curriculum based on critical theories of race and gender were assessed in a mid-April poll commissioned by Parents Defending Education and conducted by the Competitive Edge Research and Communications (CE). The poll, which surveyed 808 active voters and included parents with children in school and other community members, found that an overwhelming majority of those surveyed object to critical race theories being taught in schools.

When participants were asked how they would rate K-12 education in their area on a letter grading scale, a plurality, at 47.1%, gave schools a C or lower. Then they were asked how important particular activities were for school administrators to undertake. The only two items that were defined as extremely important by a majority were preparing students for the 21st-century workforce and teaching students how to reason and think well. The only item to achieve a majority in the category “not at all important” was teaching children their race is the most important thing about them. All other items had broader distribution along a continuum of importance.

Stories of schools attempting to brainwash children into believing social justice and identitarian politics in order to create obedient little radicals are becoming far too common, but now they’re also going after parents. Some parents, however, are proving to be far more trouble than the schools would hope.  As RedState previously covered, Andrew Gutmann rang the alarm bell on the Manhattan Brearley School where his 12-year-old daughter was being taught “anti-racism,” which sounds good on the surface but, in reality, is a curriculum that focuses on teaching children identity politics and hatred for America.

Gutmann gave details to the New York Post, stating that the school had not just been teaching children racist ideological nonsense but that they were putting pressure on the parents, too:

He said he grew increasingly concerned and frustrated by what he saw happening at the school. Last year he refused to sign the school’s anti-racism pledge. “I thought they were going to kick my daughter out then,” Gutmann said. “They didn’t but next year they have the pledge built into the yearly school contract.”

The pledge asks that parents of prospective students explain how their family’s values align with the school’s “commitment to creating an anti-racist and inclusive school community.” The application also states that the school “requires all members, including at least one parent/guardian, to participate in required anti-racist training and ongoing reflection.”
According to Fox News, Gutmann said the pressure on parents to conform was so intense that their silence was taken as racism.

Yeah, it’s ChiComm’s Mao’s reeducation camps all over again. And when it comes to Public Health, it trumps everything, right?

The CDC’s director, Biden appointee Rochelle Walensky, has declared that racism is a public health threat. Accordingly, she has vowed to invest more resources in minority communities. To the non-woke, Walensky’s declaration might seem like politically correct nonsense masquerading as science, in service of funneling money to a core Democrat constituency. But to leftists, the statement is true by definition, based on the following syllogism:

1. All outcomes unfavorable to Blacks are the product of racism.
2. Blacks have less favorable health outcomes than Whites.
3. Therefore, the unfavorable health outcomes Blacks suffer are the product of racism.
4. And therefore, racism is a public health threat.

I don’t know whether anyone is presenting Walensky’s conclusion in these quite these terms. However, it seems clear that this sort of thinking underlies the view that racism threatens public health.

Gosh, and I thought the purpose of the military was to fight Communism (Marxism)?

What makes this man a national treasure and hero is not just his military service, but his willingness to outline one of the true cancers -Marxism- that is undermining the military ability to function.  It is likely Lt Col. Matthew Lohmeier knew what he was saying would mean his targeting and elimination, yet he said it anyway.

(Military.Com) A commander of a U.S. Space Force unit tasked with detecting ballistic missile launches has been fired for comments made during a podcast promoting his new book, which claims Marxist ideologies are becoming prevalent in the United States military.

Lt Col. Matthew Lohmeier, commander of 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, was relieved from his post Friday by Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, the head of Space Operations Command, over a loss of confidence in his ability to lead, Military.com has exclusively learned.

[…] Earlier this month, Lohmeier, a former instructor and fighter pilot who transferred into the Space Force, self-published a book titled “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military.”

Segregation in the United States ended with Brown v. Board of Education in 1954…so they say.  But it might be time to re-think that position. Although that decision has not been over-turned, and no new precedent has been set, it seems that separating people by skin color is making a roaring comeback in this country.

Of course, racial segregation is still unconstitutional and immoral, but it seems like our culture is embracing its return as long as it is couched in a progressive “anti-racist” fashion. This is clearly a case of progressivism leading to a regressive outcome.

Parents of students at Madison West High School in Madison, Wisconsin, are the latest group to be separated based on their melanin count. Families of students were invited to discuss “all the police brutality and violence that is going on.” This is according to a copy of an email reviewed by The Federalist. Contained in that email were separate links to Zoom meetings. One link was for parents “of color” and the other link for “white parents”.

To Be Continued.
