In case you missed it, the adults in the room took over Monday night’s SAU16 school board meeting at Exeter High School. Below is a link to the video. Warning: it’s about 3 hours long. However, if you are a regular Granite Grok reader, this is the Wagyu beef and Russian caviar of school board meetings, so take your time and digest it slowly.
There were so many heroes who spoke up at that meeting. Some I already knew were heroes – Don Bolduc, Ann Marie Banfield, Ken Eyring – and some I didn’t. What they all said was powerful and moving. On behalf of myself and all of the like-minded residents who were not in attendance…

THANK YOU!
A very special shoutout also to the woman who drove down from Goffstown, filmed the meeting, and also took time to speak up. Her comments really resonated. This is a culture issue. This administration has built a culture of fear. Fear of speaking up. Fear of having an opinion. Fear of questioning anything.
Her video also captured at least 3 board members engaging in various forms of unacceptable behavior towards the people for whom they are supposed to be working. We need to know who they are, and we need another petition.
And yes, I am more than willing to turn over the overnight thread to worthy content. It’s probably more worthy than half the stuff I share this late at night, so why not?
