You have a biracial high school senior that has to take a mandatory class (“Sociology of Change”) that is built around Critical Race Theory. He is told that if he doesn’t disavow his Whiteness, he won’t graduate. Governor Sununu, do you want this version of Mao’s Cultural Revolution sweeping through our schools?

A biracial high school senior is being threatened with not being able to graduate for failing a Critical Race Theory class at his school because he refused to confess to his “white dominance” as part of the course requirement, the boy’s mother claims.
A crowdfunded profile of the situation posted by the Foundation Against Intolerance & Racism explains: “In the class, William, along with all the students, was asked to publicly reveal his race, gender, religious, and sexual identities, and then attach derogatory labels to those identities. Students were then asked to ‘undo and unlearn’ their “beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors that stem from oppression.”
Where does a school get off teaching stuff at which parents would be aghast? Oh, wait – schools are already not caring what parents think anymore; the kids are theirs (said an infamous German philosopher back in the 1930s….take a hint).
“William was understandably reluctant to label himself as ‘privileged’ or an ‘oppressor,'” the profile goes on to say, adding that “while William is the only student in the class who appears to be white — he has light skin and green eyes — he is, in fact, mixed race.”
All this because of the color of his skin? We used to call it racism back then and now it is not just allowed but high Government Officials (looking at you Chris) are just dandy with it.
William was given a failing grade in the course, and his mother filed a lawsuit against the school in December to protest the curriculum of the Critical Race Theory class and to seek damages after the school allegedly threatened to not allow William to graduate.
The lawsuit states that the Clarks are seeking “monetary damages, including compensatory and punitive damages, for the damage done to William Clark’s future academic and professional prospects, and for the Defendants’ deliberate and protracted harassment, emotional abuse, and violation of Plaintiffs’ Constitutional Rights.”
And of the school? Of COURSE, they are claiming, just like Bruce Currie has intimated in his comments here.
Democracy Prep told the outlet that it could not comment on pending lawsuits, but issued a statement saying:
“Our curriculum teaches students about American democracy and movements for social change throughout our history. We strongly disagree with how the curriculum has been characterized in this filing.”
What a whitewash of their anti-Whiteness jihad!
It is one thing to teach history – use nice words, deflect from what is actually happening at Ground Zero. What is being done to this boy is unconscionable – but allowable, nay demanded, by CRT standards.
So are you going to do this to your inner circle? Are you going to allow this to be done to your employees?
It is another thing to belittle and denigrate someone simply because of their appearance but call it “teaching history”. If I, as a teacher, was doing this to a Black person, boy, would I be hounded until I was dead in the gutter. But it is just fine for this reverse racism to exist, and in many circles, applauded. Is this how our students are to be treated?
And you won’t sign HB544 to prevent this here in NH?
This is what happens when our school system don’t teach history – I’m betting that this school never taught much concerning the Chinese Communists’ Long March through China and their virtual enslavement of their people (and callously killing of 60 – 100 million of their people during said Long March). More when you consider how many died during the Cultural Revolution that used these EXACT tactics against those, the middle class at the time as well as academics, that did not embrace Communism.
It was Re-Education. We here in America used to be accusatory of such processes. Now, we see it applied to Whites and we see it being applied to those that are not Woke Democrats/SJWs/Socialists/Bernie-Bros. We heard the calls of re-education of Trump supports -same groupthink that demands only one world view. Dissent is no longer Patriotic but could be a killable offence (figuratively right now but it seems that the Left is willing to start putting toes over that bright Red line. And here is a great example of it in real time – against a mere lad just rebranded as CRT (but certainly the same techniques).

So Chris, do you want something similar in your legacy? As “The Guy” that could stop this Marxist agenda flat cold – but didn’t? Is this what you want to run on during your 2022 run against Maggie “The Red” Hassan (who tried to “nationalize” NH’s hospitals under an unelected, unaccountable “board”? In that, she failed in that bit of Socialism. If you veto HB544, you will have succeeded where she failed. Different area, different idea, but similar.
Similar things will be said – by allowing the CRT Cultural Revolution to proceed, “nationalizing” all of us. The State will determine how you act and what you believe. “You WILL be made to care” will be your message to New Hampshireits.
You will not be alowed to dissent – and that’s what you want for a legacy? This kid got a failing grade – the start of a very slippery slope that history shows actually exists.
