Amazing Video - Drone Records Volcanic Eruption in Iceland

There is nothing political about this yet, just some fun and a cool perspective on the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland. There’s plenty of great videos online if you do a search, but this one is a bit different.

REYKJAVIK, Iceland (AP) — A long dormant volcano on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwestern Iceland flared to life Friday night, spilling lava down two sides in that area’s first volcanic eruption in nearly 800 years.

781 to be exact, while the “The Fagradals Mountain volcano had been dormant for 6,000 years.”

It is mostly a low-key affair as eruptions go, more seepage, not explosive, but this drone video is very cool – Check this out.
