A public hearing for bill HB68, an act relative to the definition of child abuse, will be held on Thursday, February 18. This bill would add to the legal definition of an abused child one who was “Subjected to drug treatments or surgery in an attempt to alter the sex of the child assigned at birth, except in rare cases of ambiguous genitalia.”

Parents of children who are confused about their gender are being misled by medical professionals into believing that their child will commit suicide if they aren’t affirmed in their belief that they are a member of the opposite sex.
To make things worse, in New Hampshire it is illegal to get therapy for a gender-confused child that will help that child to be more comfortable in the body with which they were born.
Parents are being convinced to put their younger kids on puberty blockers, to prevent their sexual development, and to put teen girls on testosterone and teen boys on estrogen. Teen girls are also having double mastectomies. All of this results in serious harm to their growing bodies and as minors, they cannot understand or consent to what is being done to them.
Almost 70 people signed up to testify on HB68 two weeks ago. That hearing was recessed and another hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18 at 1:15 pm.
If you wish to testify on this bill, there are two ways to share your story with the House Children & Family Law Committee.
