Lincoln Warned Us

Lincoln warned

Lincoln warned in 1838:

Good men, men who love tranquility, who desire to abide by the laws, and enjoy their benefits, who would gladly spill their blood in the defense of their country;

seeing their property destroyed; their families insulted, and their lives endangered; their persons injured; and seeing nothing in prospect that forebodes a change for the better;

become tired of, and disgusted with, a government that offers them no protection; and are not much averse to a change in which they imagine they have nothing to lose.

Thus, then, by the operation of this mobocractic spirit, which all must admit, is now abroad in the land, the strongest bulwark of any Government, and particularly of those constituted like ours, may effectually be broken down and destroyed.

Are you there yet?

All 2020 your citizenship requirement was to endure BLM riots, which Democrat mayors sanctioned. Throughout 2020 you stood in stunned silence as mayors watched Anarchists fight with police and fire and did nothing. All 2020 there was no response to Antifa riots, looting and burning. Understand what you are looking at. The average American is fed, the hell up, with what has been going on. That is what we all saw yesterday. Lincoln warned us…

Many believe our system has become corrupted. More still believe injustice rather than justice is prevailing. The line is when ballots cast are tossed aside.  That did happen. The last election has no validity. The incoming administration is corrupt and will be repressive and intolerant. We know this. We understand where we are. The question is coming down to whether the Lockean contract is broken?

Once we commit to revolution there is no going back. The country is financially distraught. We are bankrupt. The funding for our day to day governmental functioning is coming from loans. We have not done a budget, much less balance a budget in the 21st century. Our courts do not hear our cases and the cases they do hear they decide wrongly. Government is dysfunctional because it is corrupt.

Revolution… evolution

Look, storming the Bastille led to mass violence and tyranny. Conservatives love ordered liberty. There are still some people born in this country who understand this. But know this: This summer’s riots were distorted and misrepresented by the media to excuse and minimize them.

Today that same media is absolutely making every effort to portray each and every non-leftist as a violent insurrectionist. Politicians are using yesterday as justification for further curtailing of our God-given rights. This is by plan. Lincoln warned us…

Should there have been a protest yesterday absolutely. Is there justification for the intrusion and vandalizing of the Capitol Building; absolutely not. The First Amendment says:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Our government is absolutely not upholding its responsibility. It is also not listening to the people. It is not operating inside the bounds of the U.S. Constitution. That however does not justify mob rule and lawlessness. We have been and are being forced by our government to endure tyranny. The lockdowns are unconstitutional. The suppression of free speech is unconstitutional. The predation on the free exercise of religion is unconstitutional.

Which side are you on?

Our government has knowingly and with malice and forethought destroyed the lives of countless Americans over the past year. It has eroded our country’s attachment to the rule of law. This should have always been unacceptable. Lincoln warned us…

There has been a massive corruption of our institutions. The question posed to us today is what is our path forward? Will we continue to submit? Do we support the rule of law when that law does not produce justice?

At what point is it better to tear it all down rather than reforming old institutions? Can we continue to have this federal republic even if we want it? It is time for all good Americans to come to the aid of their country. Which side are you on? What are your principles and values? Will you stand and deliver?
