The New Hampshire State Senate District 11 Recount was yesterday. Democrat incumbent Shannon Chandley was looking for a Michigan Miracle. But at the end of the day, Daniels, whom Chandley beat for the same seat in NH’s 2018 Democrat wave election, prevailed.

The final results added 75 votes to Chandley’s total and 36 to Daniels, leaving the Democrat 160 votes shy of flipping the results.
That’s gotta burn a few folks on the left, much the same way Republicans viewed losses in 2018. They lost their majority by similar means. A few too many folks not showing up or not voting for that race. And on that note, there is another recount today.
Republican Denise Riccciardi beat Democrat Jeanne Dietsch by 127 409 votes. Dietsch, like Handley, rightfully asked for a recount. Any race that close deserves another look, and Republicans need to make sure they do the same thing.
It’s about a lot more than the cost of the recount. We’re talking about the direction of the state and protecting the New Hampshire Advantage. Or, in the case of Democrats, turning the Granite State into another Massachusetts or Vermont. Marx-Vanilla. Nothing special. Just another tax and spend bureaucracy-driven hell-hole that can’t balance a budget or achieve real economic growth.
Congratulations to Sen. Daniels and fingers crossed and prayers said for Ricciardi. She’s a firebrand, and we need that in the State Senate.
An earlier version of this post reported the difference in votes between Ricciardi and Dietsch as 127 votes. My Sec. O-State data was incorrect and must have been updated. The correct number was 409 votes.
