U.S. Senate candidate Jon Ossoff is a Democrat running in Georgia. California donors provided twice as much through large contributions as donors from Georgia. That’s according to federal election filings. Somebody is buying a senate seat if they can.
Related:
Ossoff received $3.37 million in itemized contributions from Californians. This compares to $1.64 million from Georgians in the third quarter. More than 87% of Ossoff’s total in itemized contributions came from outside Georgia. This is an increase from the 64% he received in the second quarter.
This tells us is Ossoff’s fundraising demonstrates greater enthusiasm for his campaign outside of Georgia.
This was also true in his failed 2017 bid for Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District. More than 97% of donations to Ossoff in the final two months of that campaign came from outside Georgia. Despite raising a then-House record $32 million, he lost to his Republican opponent.
Think big money from California only goes to Georgia?
Among Ossoff’s California donors was left-wing billionaire and Green New Deal supporter Tom Steyer. This is a socialist supporter of Sen. Ed Markey (D., Mass.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.). Ossoff’s reasoning is the Green New Deal is good for “linking environmental policy and infrastructure policy.”
Ossoff, who has never held office, is trying to oust Sen. David Perdue (R., Ga.). Polls show Perdue narrowly leading his challenger in a race critical to party control of the U.S. Senate.
Bloomberg is spending $100 million to buy votes and influence. It’s probably insurance against his actions in China. There’s lots of dark money as well.
How do you suppose the donation pattern shapes up in the New Hampshire House and Senate races? Do you think outside money is a factor in the races? Where is that money coming from? Who has the most non-New Hampshire money?
Vote New Hampshire First
Is this the new meaning of the New Hampshire advantage? Are our House and Senate seats our most lucrative exports? Do we have representation that protects New Hampshire interests?
Look at the voting records of our congressional delegation. Look how much money they are spending. Where’s the money coming from? Last election the Dems outspent the Republicans five to one.
Tell me there’s no outside money. Tell me they aren’t creatures of their party.
Their voting records are hard left. More than 95% aligned with the DemocratParty, not the state, not the people of New Hampshire.
Vote to retake New Hampshire’s representation from the Antifa, BLM, Anarchist, Islamist, Democrat Party. Vote New Hampshire First.
