Since the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, Democrats have been barking. They favor packing the court with more justices. They want to add as many new justices to the court until they have a Leftist majority. Joe Biden wants to go “Well beyond court packing.”
Packing the Supreme Court is unpopular with Americans so Joe Biden has refused to talk about his support of such a move. He was even taunting voters; saying they’d find out his stance after the election. But he just revealed his plans. They are worse than many expected:
In a “60 Minutes” interview Biden said, “If elected what I will do is I’ll put together a national commission of, bipartisan commission of, scholars, constitutional scholars, Democrats, Republicans, liberal, conservative. And I will ask them to, over 180 days, come back to me with recommendations as to how to reform the court system because it’s getting out of whack the way in which it’s being handled,”
Describing a centrist Supreme Court as “out of whack,” Biden’s promise is to go extra-constitutional. He wants to create a commission to “reform” the entire court system. That is more than just “court-packing.” Biden is announcing he might upend our entire court system if elected.
Joe Biden plans an unconstitutional change of the courts
He stresses he’ll put together a “bipartisan” commission. Bipartisan means employing Leftists from both political parties. That would be the same kind of “bipartisan” commission that organizes the presidential debates, right? We should understand a President Biden would pick Republicans like Bill Krystal to go along with Biden’s left-wing supporters.
This ignores the real point. Biden is claiming Trump has appointed many judges to federal courts. Filling judiciary vacancies is one of the President’s constitutional duties. Trump is following the Constitution. Biden hates that. He wants to completely change the court system.
Biden claims this goes “well beyond” court-packing. Well, no, HELL NO. This isn’t something we’ve ever seen, in American history. And it defies the separation of powers.
As usual, the Democrats want to end nearly 250 years of tradition. They want to give themselves an advantage. The ends justify the means. These are the stakes we are facing this election. If the Anarchists, Antifa, BLM, and Islamists masquerading as Democrats regain control of our government they will change the structure of government and the courts to suit their agenda… Constitution and precedent be damned.
