So, Democrat State Party Chair Ray Buckley got triggered and in his usual fashion, called everyone involved liars and idiots because he’s got nothing else to say. Why? Well, the information in Prof. John Christie’s article “Recent Election Data Suggest New Hampshire Returning to Red State Status.”

It makes the implication that NH is starting to trend Red again. I had put it up because it seemed contra to recent elections but:
Barack Obama received fewer votes in 2012 than he did in 2008, and Hillary Clinton had fewer votes than Obama did in 2012. Mitt Romney received more votes than McCain did in 2008, and Donald Trump had more votes than Romney did in 2012. There is a clear contraction in support for the Democrat Party nominees and an expansion in support of the Republican Party nominees since 2008. With Hillary Clinton’s almost historically thin victory in 2016 by only about 2,700 votes (you would have to go back a full hundred years to the 1916 win of Woodrow Wilson besting Charles Hughes by 56 votes to get a narrower win), the trend lines are well-positioned to cross paths in 2020.
Go ahead and read it if you missed it the first time through.
So a Doug Palardy read the original article over at American Thinker (we had permission to cross-post) and decided to Tweet it out – along with a sharp stick pointed at @ChairmanBuckley:
Ray Buckley just can’t help himself – he had to respond. He’s also just HAS to try to “save face” – not all that well. He could only revert to the ad hominem attacks and then makes the very sweeping generalization that nothing is right with anything that the Professor had to say.
It hit me – is it frequent commenter Bernie-Bro Bruce Currie’s mode of attack and Ray Buckley has copied it, or the other way around? Either way, completely dismiss anyone and everything counter to their Narrative in a snobbish, dismissive way seems to be the modus operandi in getting himself out of a rhetorical jam.
Throwing out allegations is easy. Now prove the allegations else you're just spouting off.
Again.
So you're slamming NH SOS Gardner's data? That's nice.

I’m supposing he believes that GraniteGrok doesn’t have a clue one on politics, either? I note he didn’t respond – nor to the important part that all of the data in the post was from NH Secretary of State Bill Gardner’s office. So, is Ray Buckley now a “data denier”? Or just prefers an alternate reality in the face of what is happening? You have to remember that even as it SEEMS like the Democrats are in control, NH has been doing wave elections the last few cycles and a lot of the races are rather close – a few votes here, a few votes there.
But I stand by my words – he’s spouting (and blithering) because he had no real comeback to real data. After all, he’s the CHAIRMAN! Spin, spin, spin, Chairman Baghdad Bob!

And while not exactly a coup de grâce for the thread, it was a good sword slash:

You keep doing you, Ray – we’ll be watching.
